The cable holder is positioned along the longitudinal axis and the rotational axis. The drive rotates the shaft about the rotational axis. The press has a body rotatably connected to the shaft, and a foot positioned on the body. The foot is movable between a pressing position proximate to the rotational axis, and a non-pressing position distal to the rotational axis. The actuator moves the press between the pressing position and the non-pressing position.

    Abstract: A method of forming a terminating end of a cable, comprising the steps of: providing a cable; cutting a circumferential slit through an outer insulation layer; clamping a first section of the outer insulation layer with a first clamping device, and clamping a second section of the outer insulation layer with a second clamping device; displacing the first clamping device, separating the first section from the second section and exposing a section of a metal braid; displacing the first clamping device; pushing and pressing the exposed section to fold the exposed section into a braid protrusion portion; loosening the first and second clamping devices, and removing the cable from the first and second clamping devices; cutting the braid protrusion portion with a cutting device to form a protruding braid portion, the protruding braid portion; and removing the first section of the outer insulation layer and a first protruding braid portion.

A cross-section of the tail that is transverse to the first and second sides has a long distance between the first sides, and a short distance between the second sides.     Abstract: A computer security lock includes a main housing, a key-operated lock having a lock housing disposed in the main housing and having a lock bar extending movably through the lock housing, and a pair of scissors-type levers. Each lever has opposite proximal and distal end portions, and a medial part between the proximal and distal end portions. The distal end portion has a hook extending outwardly of the main housing to engage a slot in a computer housing. The medial parts of the levers are pivoted to the main housing at a common pivot point. The proximal end portions of the levers are biased to place the hooks in an unlatching position in which the hooks overlap. A cam is moved by the lock bar to extend toward and between the proximal end protions so that the hooks move away from each other. A cable holder extends around the main housing, and a security cable is connected pivotally to the cable holder.

    Abstract: A multi-directional mounting unit is used to mount a bicycle lock on a tubular frame. The mounting unit includes a tubular mounting part that is to be secured tightly on the tubular frame, and a separate tubular retaining part that confines a receiving space to receive one end of a lock body of the bicycle lock therein. The retaining part has a retaining notch that extends from a top edge to an intermediate part thereof for retaining a shackle of the bicycle lock therein. One of the mounting part and the retaining part has an outer wall surface which is formed with at least one axially extending positioning rail that confines a longitudinal slide groove therein. The other one of the mounting part and the retaining part has an outer wall surface which is formed with at least one axially extending insert projection. A selected one of the insert projections is inserted into a selected one of the positioning rails so as to secure the retaining part on the mounting part.
