  • Publication number: 20140196747
Abstract: An improved lint removing assembly consisting of Velcro hooks. The Velcro hooks hold and lift lint or hair from garments. The first embodiment calls for a predetermined square base comfortably fitting in the palm of the hand. The Velcro hooks attached to base completes the cleaning assembly. The garment will be completely lint free by utilizing vertical and/or horizontal palm motion. A serrated element will keep the Velcro hooks clean. In the second embodiment, the square base is replaced by rods. The Velcro hooks are attached to an expanded circular base that allows for maximum surface contact between the Velcro and the garment. The materials are readily available that would facilitate the second embodiment. Other cleaning embodiments can readily be created to fit cleaning specifications and needs because of the flexibility of the Velcro material. Color can be added to enhance the attractiveness of the embodiments.

  • Publication number: 20130331131
Abstract: Providing for improved network event tagging for mobile communications is described herein. By way of example, a mobile network can be configured to take periodic geographic positions of a mobile terminal operating within the mobile network. Network events occurring between the periodic geographic positions, otherwise partially unknown in position, can be estimated by referencing topographical information and estimating a route of travel of the mobile device. Estimated speed of the mobile device can be utilized to place the mobile device on a road network, cycling route, pedestrian walkway, or the like, and refine the estimated position of the mobile device at the time of the network event. Such estimates can be refined from traffic information or other real-time travel data. An estimated position of the mobile device can be output as an approximation of the network event to facilitate event modeling for the mobile network.

  • Publication number: 20130324149
Abstract: Adaptive calibration of measurements for a wireless radio network is described. A network location system can employ timed fingerprint location technology to determine location information for UEs in a NELOS enabled wireless network environment. Calibration of observed time measurements can reduce errors in determining location information. Adaptive calibration facilitates the selection of subsets of wireless network radios for calibration updates. The selection of wireless network radios comprising the subsets can be based on prioritization rules including prioritization based on historical calibration information, geographic information, or observation density information for a wireless network radio. Further, a wireless network radio can be deprioritized based on the availability of alternate location information related to the wireless network radio.

  • Publication number: 20130137465
Abstract: The systems and methods disclosed herein can implement a handset agent calibration solution that uses the GPS receivers on mobile devices to determine a location of the mobile device to calibrate timing based locating systems. The handset agent can be installed on the mobile device and can upload to an internet server the coordinates captured by the GPS receiver along with the observed time differences. The observed time differences and the location of the mobile device can be used to solve for reference time differences to calibrate unsynchronized macrocells. The reference time difference can be used to solve for the location of other mobile devices if the observed time differences between that mobile device and the macrocells are known. The solution can include receiving measurement reports from many mobile devices to obtain averaged observed time differences at a reference location to achieve more accurate reference time differences.

  • Patent number: RE44165
Abstract: The present invention provides systems and methods for transmitting and receiving information from a radio frequency (RF) transponder. A conductive adhesive connects an antenna in a non-metallized region to a metallized region. This feature transforms the entire metallized region of the radio frequency device (i.e., the remainder of the metallized material outside the non-metallized region) into an antenna.

  • Patent number: RE44691
Abstract: The present invention comprises a radio frequency identification device that utilizes multiple operating frequencies. In one embodiment of the present invention, one frequency (e.g., an ultra-high frequency such as 915 MHz, 800 MHz, 915 MHz, or microwave frequency such as 2.45 GHz) is used for data transmission, and another frequency (e.g., a low or high frequency such as 13.56 MHz) is used for field penetration. In another embodiment, one frequency is used for reading information received from the multi-frequency identification device, and another frequency is used for writing to the multi-frequency identification device. In an additional embodiment, the multi-frequency identification device utilizes one antenna for all frequencies. In another embodiment, the multi-frequency identification device utilizes two or more antennas for different frequencies, and one common memory. In other embodiments, one or two digital parts, analog parts, antennas, and memories can be used.
