    Abstract: A liquid sprayer comprising a cylinder defining a pump chamber in which there is housed a piston capable of sliding between positions of minimum and maximum insertion respectively. The piston is hand operated by a trigger and is urged to the minimum insertion position by a spring and in the minimum insertion position, the cylinder free volume is at least 3.33 times larger than the free volume in the maximum insertion position of the piston in the cylinder.
