  • Patent number: 8973850
Abstract: A rotary device for spraying a coating product is provided. The rotary device includes a spray member having an edge and able to form a jet of coating product, a device for driving the rotation of the spray member and a body which is fixed. The body that is fixed includes primary orifices arranged on a primary outline surrounding the axis of rotation and intended to eject a primary air jet in a primary direction and secondary orifices arranged on a secondary outline surrounding the axis of rotation and intended to eject a secondary air jet in a secondary direction. The respective orientations and positions of each primary direction and of each secondary direction cause combined jets to be formed, each resulting from the intersection between a primary air jet and a secondary air jet that are associated with one another, the region of intersection lying upstream of the edge.

  • Patent number: 8590807
Abstract: The present disclosure describes an atomizer having a body with an inner portion and an outer portion; an atomizer member; and outlet channels about the spraying axis (X1) for ejecting air so as to shape the spray of material. The atomizer also has an outlet chamber communicating with the outlet channels; and an inlet duct for feeding air to the outlet channels. The atomizer also includes at least two intermediate chambers juxtaposed and extending about the spraying axis (X1); axial intermediate channels, two juxtaposed intermediate chambers being interconnected via a set of intermediate channels distributed about the spraying axis (X1); and outlet ducts distributed about the spraying axis (X1).

  • Patent number: 5285980
Abstract: A device for extracting film from a cartridge having a gripper composed of two interacting elements and imparted with translational movement in the plane of the film cartridge. The two interacting elements of the gripper include a first stationary elements consisting of a disk section and a second rotating element capable of being imparted with rotational movement. The second rotating element also consists of a disk section of complementary shape to the first element. A cradle is provided to receive and hold the film cartridge in a stationary position. A mandrel positioned in one end of the cradle is provided to rotate the film spindle contained in the cartridge so that the end of the negative film can be grasped by the gripper and extracted from the cartridge.

  • Patent number: 5118926
Abstract: A device for separating a beam of white light (14,56 ) into a plurality of elementary beams of particular color, integrated in a chromatic analyzer for the printing of color photographs, comprisingan optical sensor (15-17)a plurality of photosensitive sensors (24-26), each sensor making it possible:to collect the light (28,30,31) reflected by an optical system (21-23),then to convert the light signal so received into an electrical signal, and finally to amplify it (35-37);a unit (38,39) for processing the amplified electrical signals, wherein the optical system consists of a plurality of dichroic filters (21-23) of complementary color which are parallel and which are inclined relative to the optical axis (B) of the emerging beam (18), each filter making it possible to reflect the quantity of light corresponding to the color of this filter and to transmit the light in the other colors. The invention is used on installations for the printing of photographic proofs.

  • Patent number: 4956663
Abstract: An apparatus for printing photographic prints has a negative exposing section, including a light source, an optical light filter system forming a beam of light along a path, a film transporting system for passing the negative film to be printed through the optical path of the light system, and a lens for projecting the virtual image to be printed onto the printing paper. A mirror is pivoted along one of its edges so that it can be raised into the light path to selectively reflect the light from the light source to a color analyzing system and optionally to a densitometer system. The color analysis system as positioned ahead of the negative printing station along the negative film transport path. The mirror is controlled to transmit light through the negative film when printing is taking place and to deflect all of the light to the color analysis and densitometer systems when printing is not taking place.
