  • Publication number: 20250220416
Abstract: A method for maintaining a secure channel between a client and a server through a wireless network, a secret being shared between the client and the server. the method including while the client is in sleep mode and data must be transmitted from the client to the server, wake-up of the client and initiating, by the client, a procedure for restoring the secure channel by transmitting to the server a change of state wake-up message, protected by using the secret, and while the client is in sleep mode and that data must be transmitted from the server to the client, wake-up of the client by the server by means of the transmission of a paging message and launching by the client, the restoring procedure of the secure channel by transmitting to the server, a change of state wake-up message using the secret.

  • Patent number: 11375387
Abstract: A method for federating at least two communication networks for mobile terminals by establishing a dedicated link between the two networks and then configuring one of the networks to use elements of the other network, in particular the user database and the communication policy manager.

  • Patent number: 11129051
Abstract: A cellular telecommunication system comprises a radio access part comprising a plurality of base stations that can be offset by wireless connection, as well as a core network part comprising quality-of-service policy control equipment connected via a first connection to a gateway via which radio bearers are set up. Proxy equipment: intercepts, on said first connection, each session establishment or session update message; when the intercepted message does not concern a radio bearer involving a base station offset by wireless connection, propagates the message to its destination. Otherwise the proxy equipment: determines a remaining bandwidth via said wireless connection; when the remaining bandwidth covers a bandwidth requirement expressed in the intercepted message, propagates the message to its destination; and otherwise modifies the message by indicating a bandwidth requirement of no more than the remaining bandwidth.

  • Publication number: 20210160677
Abstract: A cellular telecommunications system comprises a radio access portion enabling user equipment to access services of the cellular telecommunications system; and a core network portion comprising a quality of service policy control equipment connected to a gateway via which radio bearers are set up in order to access said services. An orchestrator equipment: receives regular reports from said gateway relating to the radio bearers that are set up; detects the occurrence of a crisis situation; identifies cells affected by the crisis situation; applies, during the crisis situation, crisis situation management rules, by declining to authenticate user equipment for which the crisis situation management rules indicate that access to said services is barred during the crisis situation; and by asking the gateway to close any session set up for user equipment for which the crisis situation management rules indicate that access to said services is barred during the crisis situation.

  • Patent number: 10491561
Abstract: In order to offer domain name resolution services vis-à-vis resources of various security domains of a communication network, an item of equipment, on reception of a domain name resolution request coming from a client device, performs: authentication operations checking whether the client device that sent the request was previously registered; authorisation operations checking whether the client device actually has right of access to the resources of said domain name; and domain name resolution operations by means of a cache storing associations of IP addresses and domain names. The cache is populated by means of the results of domain name resolutions performed by external name servers to which said equipment resort to via respective secure tunnels, independently of said security domains, when the cache does not include data allowing to effect the domain name resolution required.
