Patent number: 6354017Abstract: An apparatus for heatsetting a knitted fabric in tubular form comprises flat expansion means which extend the tubular fabric in substantially flattened form, with two superimposed surfaces, and cause said fabric to assume a preselected width, conveying means which feed said flattened tubular fabric, heatsetting elements which form at least one air flow, at a preselected temperature, and guiding rods associated with the conveying elements and the heatsetting elements; the rods being capable of supporting internally the flattened tubular fabric along its side edges, owing to the action of the heatsetting elements, while keeping the side edges extended, leaving the two superimposed surfaces free to be passed through by the air flow and keeping the width of the flattened tubular fabric unchanged.Type: GrantFiled: May 16, 2000Date of Patent: March 12, 2002Assignee: Sperotto Rimar S.p.A.Inventor: Franco Bertoldo

Patent number: 5588192Abstract: A profiled cylinder for teaseling and/or fluffing machines of the type having a generally cylindrical outer peripheral surface and provided at its ends with support hubs for its rotation, in which the radially outer peripheral surface has a particular profile caused by a plurality of variously arranged geometrical forms or surface portions disposed for abraiding contact with a fabric which is to be treated by passage through the machine.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 1995Date of Patent: December 31, 1996Assignee: Sperotto Rimar S.p.A.Inventors: Franco Bertoldo, Gino Dalla Vecchia
-
Patent number: 5392499Abstract: A method for surface treatment of wet fabric webs in a finishing machine containing an external housing, provided with an inlet zone and an outlet zone, through which a fabric web to be treated is run, and at least one grinder roller rotatably arranged inside it, against which the fabric web is caused to slide. The surface treatment of the fabric is carried out by using abrasive diamond material as the grinding material for the grinder roller.Type: GrantFiled: April 15, 1993Date of Patent: February 28, 1995Assignee: Sperotto Rimar S.p.A.Inventor: Franco Bertoldo
