Abstract: A packaging includes a tray and a sheet. The tray has a series of spaced apart sections. Each spaced apart section is generally rectangular in shape and has a recessed compartment and an upper surface. The sheet is fixed in part to the upper surface of the tray and has a plurality of tab portions that are not fixed to the tray thereby creating a tab. Each tab portion corresponds to one of the spaced apart sections and has first and second ends. Each tab portion can be graduated in width from the first end to the second end. The first end can be positioned in a corner of the corresponding spaced apart section. The tab portion has a length measured parallel to the length of the corresponding spaced apart section and the second end is adjacent to the sealed portion of the sheet.

The tab is located adjacent to one corner of the upper portion of the tray that forms the recess, whereby when the sheet is fixed to the tray it is an effective seal against moisture and light. The packaging may have a peel off layer that may be manually removed for those with limited dexterity. Abstract: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising an unpleasant-tasting therapeutic agent and skim milk powder. The composition of the present invention may further comprise a conventional pharmaceutical excipient. A further aspect of the present invention is a method of making a pharmaceutical composition comprising the step of dry blending a therapeutic agent having a substantially stable unpleasant taste and skim milk powder in an amount sufficient to mask the unpleasant taste of the therapeutic agent. The therapeutic agent and the skim milk powder are combined in a ratio sufficient to provide effective taste-masking of the therapeutic agent.

Abstract: The application discloses oral pharmaceutical compositions which are tasted in the mouth during administration. Fast-dissolving tablets, chewable tablets and effervescent dispersions are exemplified. To mask the taste of unpleasant-tasting active ingredients, it has been found that blending with cyclodextrin without the conventional complex formation is effective. Consequently more economical modes of manufacture such as simple granulation and dry blending can be used.

Abstract: A process for making a granulate composition suitable to the preparation of an oral solid form that can disintegrate rapidly inside the buccal cavity is provided as well as the granulate compositions and obtained.
