The rub strip protrusion includes a third end and a second retention lip extending from a third surface facing the first retention lip. The second retention lip and the third surface form an acute angle. The extrusion also includes at least two panel protrusions extending from the second planar surface of the spar. A rub strip can include retention tabs with outward-facing notches that engage the first and second retention lips.
