    Abstract: A process for detecting and signaling the defrosting, even temporary, of frozen products which consist in providing a detecting device consisting of a closed container having therein a colorless and a colored element which, under frozen conditions, are separate from each other but will admix and form a single colored mixture on defrosting. The presence of said single mixture indicates that defrosting has taken place. The device is also disclosed and claimed.
