  • Publication number: 20200001136
Abstract: The invention concerns a hand paddle for swimming that has an upper wall to which the distal portion of a user's arm is attached and a lower propulsion blade. The hand paddle is equipped with a device for holding the hand paddle on the user's arm having an aperture formed through the paddle and a member mounted movable in the aperture and having an interface that is arranged on top of the wall. The interface being arranged to receive at least one finger of the user and arranged to hold the finger against the interface, the member being equipped with an element elastically constraining the movement. The element is arranged between the blade and the member and is reversibly compressible between an extended state, in which the member is arranged in a low position holding the user's finger, and a compressed state in which the member is arranged in a high position placing the user's finger on the interface.

  • Publication number: 20140117021
Abstract: Cryogenic fluid tank for a launch rocket, comprising at least one wall delimiting a storage space for cryogenic fluid, said wall being provided, on at least part of the internal surface thereof, with thermal insulation comprising a so-called top layer intended to be in contact with the fluid stored in the storage space, characterized in that the top layer comprises an insulating material covered, on the face thereof intended to be in contact with the cryogenic fluid stored in the tank, with an impervious enclosure forming an impervious barrier between the cryogenic fluid stored and the insulating material, and in that the insulating material of the top layer is completely encapsulated in an impervious enclosure, that is to say the insulating material is covered by the impervious enclosure over its entire surface.

  • Patent number: 8258916
Abstract: The present invention relates in general to the field of integrated circuits, and more specifically to a meander resistor. Basically, a meander resistor can be considered as a bar resistor with the exception of the corner squares (right-angle bends). The Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) sensitivities of on-chip resistors can be a problem for both electronic manufactures and electronic component users. As others components, passive devices are known to be susceptible to ESD events. The context of this invention is to improve the reliability of the resistors during an ESD event. An ESD stress means that high current and high voltage levels are applied to the device. The device has to be able to dissipate this energy without failure.

  • Patent number: 7986011
Abstract: The invention provides an electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection device with an increased capability to discharge ESD generated current with a reduced device area. The ESD protection device comprises a grounded gate MOS transistor (1) with a source region (3) and a drain region (4) of a first semiconductor type interposed by a first well region (7) of a second semiconductor type. Second well regions (6) of the first semiconductor type, interposed by the first well region (7), are provided beneath the source region (3) and the drain region (4). Heavily doped buried regions (8,9) of the same semiconductor types, respectively, as the adjoining well regions (6,7) are provided beneath the well regions (6,7).

  • Patent number: 7552484
Abstract: A pair of swimming goggles has two ocular assemblies connected by a bridging element, and the means to adjust their separation. The bridging element is composed, symmetrically in relation to a median plane, of a central body and, laterally on either side of the latter, of a lower stalk and an upper stalk which are flexible and attached to an ocular assembly. Each of the two ocular assemblies has first temporary locking resources, at least on a first face. At least one of the stalks is fitted with second temporary locking resources, designed to fit onto the first temporary locking resources so that the temporary locking of the said stalk on the said first face of the ocular assembly is achieved at a distance from the central body chosen by the user.
