  • Patent number: 10891763
Abstract: An apparatus for determining an enhanced image of a vascular treatment provides (12) a plurality of images including a representation of a region of interest of a vascular structure. Each of the plurality of images includes image data of at least one localizing feature associated with at least one tool configured to be used in the vascular treatment. Each of the plurality of images also includes image data associated with the at least one tool. Registration information for each of the images of the plurality of images is determined (14). At least two images from the plurality of images are selected (16) as a function of the registration information for each of the images. An enhanced image that provides for enhanced visibility of the at least one tool is determined (20). Data representative of the enhanced image is output (24).

  • Publication number: 20200337661
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for determining a focal spot size, and/or a pulse duration, and/or an X-ray intensity for an X-ray pulse for a sequential X-ray imaging apparatus, the device (1) comprising: a receiving unit (2); a mode determining unit (3); and a transmitting unit (4); wherein the receiving unit (2) is configured to receive a status signal (24) indicating a motion status of an object of interest (7); wherein the mode determining unit (3) is configured to determine an acquisition mode based on the indicated motion status of the object of interest (7); wherein the acquisition mode defines a focal spot size, and/or a pulse duration, and/or an X-ray intensity for an X-ray pulse for a sequential X-ray imaging apparatus (10); wherein the focal spot size, and/or the pulse duration, and/or X-ray intensity for an X-ray pulse are adapted to the motion status of the object of interest (7); and wherein the transmitting unit (4) is configured to provide a mode signal indicating the determined acq

  • Publication number: 20170135654
Abstract: An imaging system (IMS) that includes a functionality (100) to help a user adjust an imaging geometry relative to a region of interest (ROI). A graphics display (505, 405, 510) is generated and displayed on a screen (MT) to indicate in a current field of view (FOV) a current position of the ROI within said FOV and a protocol required position of said ROI.
