  • Patent number: 9261359
Abstract: A measuring head of a pneumatic measuring device for measuring a workpiece has a base element in which a first flow channel is provided for connecting a compressed air source to a measuring nozzle. The first flow channel has a constricted area with at least one cross-sectional constriction. The measuring head also has one or more second flow channels for connecting the constricted area to a measuring transducer. The base element has a divided configuration in the axial direction. The divided configuration may be provided at least in the constricted area of the first flow channel.

  • Patent number: 6504113
Abstract: The scales include a tray (1) placed on a base (3) and lifted by an air cushion, with no mechanical connection with the base (3). The weight of an object (21) laid on the tray (1) varies the air cushion pressure, and the measurement of this pressure by an external sensor (19) is straightforward and gives the weight of the object (21) once a law of correlation has been determined. Lateral pipes enable gas to be blown against a flange (2) of the tray (1) and thus horizontal displacements of the tray and friction to be avoided. Several vertical pipes are generally provided so as to reduce tray (1) tipping after the object (21) has been thrown off centre, the weight being then given by the sum of the measurements of each vertical pipe.

  • Patent number: 5228328
Abstract: The device comprises a source of gas under pressure, a measurement branch connected to the source of gas under pressure and including a feed nozzle and a measurement member, a measurement pressure sensor connected to the measurement branch between the feed nozzle and the measurement member, and an absolute pressure sensor connected to the source of gas under pressure and having an input connected to a reference electricity source and an output connected to an input of a differential amplifier having another input connected to the reference electricity source and an output connected to the power supply terminal of the measurement pressure sensor.

  • Patent number: 5140846
Abstract: The apparatus of the invention comprises a measurement chamber fed with gas under pressure by a feed nozzle, a measurement chamber having an outlet nozzle spaced apart from the feed nozzle and including a pressure take-off point disposed between the feed nozzle and the outlet nozzle. According to the invention, a separating partition extends inside the measurement chamber overlying the pressure take-off point and co-operates with the wall of the measurement chamber to determine a volume which is closed in airtight manner at its outlet nozzle end and which is open at its inlet nozzle end in the vicinity of the inlet nozzle.
