  • Publication number: 20190172260
Abstract: The invention relates to a system for composing or modifying (1) a virtual reality experience sequence (10), said virtual reality experience sequence (10) comprising, on the one hand, a plurality of places (20) connected together, a connection between two places (20) being operated by a navigation node (320) and, on the other hand, media contents (30) connected to the places (20), a connection between a place (20) and a media content (30) being operated by media nodes (330), said system comprising: a module (100) for composing a virtual reality experience sequence (20), a configuration file or set of configuration files (300) a device (350) including media files (360).

  • Publication number: 20140095122
Abstract: A configurator platform and a corresponding configurator environment, according to an embodiment of the invention enable a user to navigate a displayed virtual representation of a building configuration. The user is also enabled to customize the building configuration. The customization is based on a set of physical product specifications from which the user may make selections. A building configuration may be stored as a plurality of tags indicative of physical product specifications included in the building configuration. The building configuration may be sent to an engineering system where it is translated into an engineering model of the building. The configuration platform may further provide interaction with a geographic information system to provide environmental, geologic, and regulatory information as well as other location-based data associated with the geographic location of the building.

  • Patent number: 5992656
Abstract: A plastic tube with a tubular tube body which is connected through a shoulder to a neck having an external thread and with a screw cap which can be screwed with an internal thread onto the external thread of the neck. The shoulder is injection molded onto the corresponding end of the tube body, wherein the shoulder and the externally threaded neck are constructed in one piece. The shoulder and the adjacent end of the tube body have a polygonal cross-section and the same polygonal cross-section continues over the length of the tube body. At least two side surfaces of the tube body extend from this transition point essentially plane or with a straight surface toward the end of the tube.

  • Patent number: 5599399
Abstract: Process for chemical polishing of austenitic stainless steel surfaces using chemical polishing baths effective at a slow rate of reaction. The baths include in an aqueous solution a mixture of hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and phosphoric acid, an optionally substituted hydroxybenzoic acid, at least one quaternary ammonium salt and an additive chosen from perchloric acid and water-soluble salts of perchloric acid.

  • Patent number: 4256542
Abstract: The invention relates to a process and a device for monitoring the change in the surface condition of a metal component in an installation containing an ionic phase, by a modification of the working conditions in the installation, relative to standard working conditions. The equilibrium potential of the component in the ionic phase in the installatoin is applied to one electrode of an electrochemical measuring cell, the electrode and the cell respectively reproducing the metal component and the installation under standard working conditions, and the intensity of the resulting electric current in the measuring cell is measured. The invention applies, in particular, to the monitoring of the corrosion of the wall of a steel pipeline through which a sodium chloride brine passes.

  • Patent number: 4110181
Abstract: A method is disclosed for handling corrosive concentrated aqueous solutions of alkali metal hydroxides containing major amounts of alkali metal halides in equipment made of ordinary or mild steel. Corrosion is prevented by a combination of controlling the amount of alkali metal hydroxide to less than 500 gms per kilogram of solution; maintaining the temperature of the solution below 130.degree. C.; and providing an anodic potential of between -1000 mV and -200 mV with respect to the potential of the saturated calomel electrode.
