  • Patent number: 11385219
Abstract: A handheld diagnostic test device includes a port to removably receive a test cartridge, an element connected with an electronic device, and sensors for detection of test data from a biological or environment sample after reaction with reagents onboard the cartridge. The test device also includes memory storing algorithms for upload to the electronic device to enable a processor thereof: to await elapse of a pre-determined time following reaction of the sample with the reagents; to thereafter instruct the sensors to detect the test data; to generate presentation data based on the test data; and to present the presentation data from a presentation element of the electronic device to a user. A related method includes a connecting step, an uploading step, a presentation step, a cartridge inserting step, a waiting step, a sensing step, and an electronic device processing step.

  • Patent number: 9945837
Abstract: In a single-use handheld diagnostic test device and an associated system and method, a biological and/or environmental test sample is received and reacted with reagents. The test device tests a single sample and includes a sensor to detect test data. The test device mates with, and transmits the test data to, an electronic device. A processor of the electronic device applies algorithms to the test data to generate highly sensitive and accurate quantitative test results. A presentation element of the electronic device presents the test results to a user. The test device is adapted for disposal, or for sterilization and re-use, after the electronic device receives the test data. The electronic device may be, for example, a mobile communications device, a personal digital assistant, a laptop computer, a navigation device, a digital audio player, a camera, or a gaming device.

  • Publication number: 20170069024
Abstract: A mobile device and method are disclosed for trading a digital asset with a buyer device. The method provides for publishing a publicly available list of digital assets from the selling mobile device that can be accessed by potential buyer mobile devices over a network. The seller mobile device evaluates a certificate associated with the digital asset to determine what trading rights are available to the seller device and what payment obligations to interested parties are associated with the digital asset. The payment obligations allow for revenue sharing between the seller device and the interested party as specified in the certificate. The seller mobile device verifies that the payment obligations are satisfied based on the terms of the trade for the digital asset and then transmits the digital asset to the buyer device.

  • Publication number: 20160026764
Abstract: A system virtually tests for diagnostic results in a subject, and includes databases and processors. The databases include test results, QC data, and diagnostic matrices. Each diagnostic matrix indicates one of the diagnostic results. The processors automatically apply: interpretation algorithms to generate result coordinates; and QC protocols to generate QC coordinates. The processors automatically: combine result coordinates with corresponding QC coordinates to generate a virtual test panel matrix; and when the virtual test panel matrix matches one or more of the diagnostic matrices, determine each aforesaid corresponding one of the diagnostic results which matches the virtual test panel matrix. Also disclosed are a device, method and computer readable medium.

  • Publication number: 20140359001
Abstract: A service hosted on a device configured for providing an information resource to a first client, the information resource in web compatible format, The service is configured to receive a request by a service interface of the service for the information resource from a device application hosted by the same device, the device application acting as the first client, such that the request is communicated to the service interface on a communication data path that bypasses a network connection interface of a device infrastructure of the device. The service also accesses by the service interface a service application layer stored on the device in a first storage in order to obtain the information resource. The service also provides the information resource in a response to the first client for subsequent processing and display on a user interface.
