  • Patent number: 11979638
Abstract: A method of reception and playback of audio and/or audiovisual contents in a receiver device capable of receiving a determined audio and/or audiovisual stream coming from a one-way or two-way network. A determined stream broadcast on a network is received and the contents transmitted by the stream are played back in the receiver device. A first event external to the receiver device is detected. It triggers interruption of the playback of the content in progress and recording of the instant of the interruption. Then a second external event is detected. It triggers determining the availability of the unplayed part of the interrupted content and the display of a menu to a user that he should play back the unplayed part. The introduction of a command then triggers retrieval of the unplayed part and the playback of the retrieved content part.

  • Patent number: 11258841
Abstract: A method of transmitting an audio and/or audiovisual content to a receiver. The method starts with receiving a determined stream broadcast on a network and playing back the contents transmitted by the stream in the receiver. Then a first event external to the receiver is detected and triggers interruption of the playback of the content in progress and recording of the instant of the interruption. Sometime later, a second external event triggers a transmission, from the receiver to a remote server, of the instant dating the first event and of a request for resuming the playback of the interrupted content. A piece of information specifying the identifiers of the data packets of the content at the instant of the interruption is then transmitted from the remote server to the receiver. Finally, the receiver receives the identified data packets and replays the content of the packets.

  • Patent number: 5339166
Abstract: A video analysis system for editing an edited or broadcast televised program, which is a succession of images of order k, that can be used for post-production techniques such as multilingual post-production techniques. The system comprises a circuit for measuring the time variance of the composition of the images, establishing, time-wise, the composition of the images so as to establish an image difference signal and scenic-activity parameters of the broadcast program for a group of at least two successive images of order k-1, k. An analysis circuit makes it possible to establish from the scenic-activity parameters, data representative of the cutting-up into shots, consisting of a group of p successive images, of the broadcast, televised program.

  • Patent number: 5208857
Abstract: A method and device are disclosed for scrambling-unscrambling digital image data. The data is subjected to processing for extracting the colorimetric components of the pixels forming the image, the components being formed into blocks b(I,J) of N.times.N pixels x(i,j) so as to generate corresponding spatial chopping of the image where I designates a line index and J a column index of arrangement of the blocks in the image, i and j designating a line index and a column index of arrangement of the pixels in each block. The pixels and/or blocks are subjected to an intra-block and/or inter-block mixing procedure. The inter-block mixing consists of an arbitrary re-arrangement of said blocks of pixels and the intra-block mixing mixing consists of an arbitrary re-arrangement of the pixels os each block so as to obtain a scrambled arrangement of blocks and/or pixels.
