  • Patent number: 11803956
Abstract: A method for detecting potential dents in a surface includes providing a flying drone with an image acquisition device and a light source, the shape of which is elongate, and a data processing device. At least one series of images is acquired of portions of the surface by the image acquisition device by moving the flying drone past the surface along a trajectory so that, for each image of the series, the light source is illuminating the corresponding portion of the surface. The data processing device is operated to analyze the shape of a specular reflection of the light source in images of the series of images to estimate the position of any dents in the surface.

  • Patent number: 11783465
Abstract: A flying drone for inspecting surfaces able to reflect light has a lighting device formed of two light sources each having a shape that is elongate in a longitudinal direction of each of the light sources, two first image acquisition devices, and a second image acquisition device between the two first image acquisition devices. The two light sources are respectively between the second image acquisition device and each of the first image acquisition devices. The flying drone allows effective detection of dents in surfaces by analyzing specular reflections, by the lighting device and of the first image acquisition devices, and effective detection of superficial defects on surfaces by the second image acquisition device, with the lighting device switched off.

  • Patent number: 8318234
Abstract: The present invention provides a mixed aqueous solution of L-lysine and L-threonine, which is industrially useful as an animal feed ingredient. The solution is stable, concentrated, and has good handleability. Therefore, a mixed aqueous solution of L-lysine and L-threonine is provided which contains L-lysine, L-threonine, and water. The solution has a viscosity of 3300 cp or less at 20° C., a pH of 10-13, and a total concentration of L-lysine and L-threonine in the mixed aqueous solution of 70 g/100 g of water or more.

  • Publication number: 20050137970
Abstract: A method and a system for awarding an instant rebate are provided. The method comprises: determining a price for each item of a purchase of at least one item made by a client; selecting at least one item of the purchase using the nature of the item, the price determined, a price for a plurality of item and/or a total price for the purchase; activating a random rebate generator using the item selected to determine if an amount proportional to the price determined is to be awarded to the client; calculating an altered price by reducing the price determined by the proportional amount if the proportional amount is to be awarded; carrying out a payment of the altered price by the client.

  • Patent number: 6427420
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the manufacture of a pack, particularly intended for undergoing preservation treatment, from at least one film (10) comprising two plastic layers, an upper (11) and a lower (12), which form the outer and inner faces of said pack, and a light-metal central layer (13) sandwiched between said upper and lower layers. According to the invention, prior to the operations to make said pack, a laser beam is applied solely to the lower layer of said film, said lower layer forming the inner face of said pack, in order to produce, virtually in the entire thickness of said lower layer, at least one perforation (14) forming at least one precut line.
