  • Patent number: 10343768
Abstract: An aircraft landing gear well roof including a first reinforced main structure and a second reinforced main structure spaced from each other in a transverse direction of the roof and equipped with respective mounting for articulating a structural element of the first landing gear and mounting for articulating a structural element of the second landing gear. A membrane connecting the first reinforced main structure and the second reinforced main structure is disposed between them in the transverse direction.

  • Publication number: 20190112034
Abstract: An aircraft landing gear bay roof for forming a pressurization barrier between an upper pressurized compartment and a landing gear bay for the housing of a landing gear. The roof comprises a main bulkhead extending in a longitudinal direction, an inclined forward bulkhead, rigidly connected to a forward edge of the main wall, and an inclined aft bulkhead, rigidly connected to an aft edge of the main bulkhead. The forward bulkhead and the aft bulkhead each form an obtuse angle with the main bulkhead. This configuration enables a better absorption of loads by the landing gear bay roof and a shorter and optimized path for transmission of the mechanical loads, in particular to the fuselage member to which the aft bulkhead is configured to be connected.

  • Publication number: 20190112035
Abstract: An aircraft landing gear bay roof, the roof forming a pressurization barrier between a pressurized upper compartment and a landing gear bay for the housing of a landing gear, comprising a roof wall forming the pressurization barrier. The roof wall is held by longitudinal gantries to which it is linked, and which extend over the entire length of the roof wall. The roof wall comprises a lower face configured to be installed inside the landing gear bay and an upper face configured to be installed outside the landing gear bay. At least one of the gantries is installed against the lower face of the roof wall.

  • Patent number: 9452818
Abstract: An aircraft comprising a wing box and a fuselage provided with a connecting device configured to be connected to the wing box and to transmit thereto stresses undergone by the fuselage during maneuvers of the aircraft are provided. The connecting device is formed by a keel beam and a keel beam panel connected to the beam via a connecting portion of the beam, that is moreover provided with a main portion extending in a first, generally longitudinal direction and a transfer portion extending in a second direction different from the first direction and configured to be connected to the box. The main, transfer and connecting portions are configured to direct a major part of the stresses received by the beam in the second direction and transmit said major part of the stresses to the box by compression.

  • Patent number: 8770518
Abstract: A wing box rib, joining an aircraft wing to the wing box and to the rest of the structure, extends advantageously over an adjacent part of the fuselage, having in particular an upper line situated above a junction line of the wing upper surface panel. The connection is simplified, as is the structure of the aircraft and its manufacture, a lightening is possible, and the transmission of stresses takes place in a more favorable manner.

  • Patent number: 8746621
Abstract: The stiffening frames (14) of an aircraft fuselage (2) remain continuous while passing through an upper panel (5) of the wing box and extend over the ribs (3) situated in that box. The overall mechanical strength of the assembly is improved, despite the notches it is necessary to make in the panel (5).
