  • Patent number: 8193970
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of implementing operations involving the processing a radio-communication frame (CMF) in a system comprising at least three radio transmitter/receiver devices (1-5), consisting in transmitting the frame in response to a first request signal (REQ1) transmitted by a device belonging to the system (1). According to the invention, the frame is processed in the device (1) that transmitted the first request signal (REQ1) as well as in other devices belonging to the system (1, 3-5) which transmitted respective request signals (REQ2-REQ4) within a pre-determined time period.

  • Patent number: 8121141
Abstract: Data is transmitted by a first terminal (11) to a second terminal (12) in a telecommunications network (10) in a plurality of sets of data packets. In the first and second terminals, as a function of a selection rule common to the first and second terminals, transmission frequencies are selected from transmission frequencies in a secret list of transmission frequencies that is common to the first and second terminals. Next, the sets of data packets are transmitted (15, 16) from the first terminal to the second terminal at respective selected transmission frequencies. The common list of transmission frequencies is allocated on the basis of available frequencies with respect to the first and second terminals and collected from the telecommunications network.

  • Patent number: 8098570
Abstract: The invention concerns the processing of digital signals, in particular spectral scanning upon reception of a signal. Said processing includes multicarrier shape filtering (12) applied to a received signal prior to computing a Fourier transform (13) applied to the received signal thus filtered. The invention is advantageously useful for dynamic spectrum allocation in a context of radio communication of content.

  • Publication number: 20090232036
Abstract: The invention concerns a mobile telecommunication network comprising a plurality of terminals and an allocating entity adapted to allocate radio resources. One radio resource is associated with a transmission power. One terminal of the network is selected (21) based on at least one transmission power respectively associated with at least one radio resource previously allocated to the selected terminal. Thereafter, an available radio resource is allocated (22) to the selected terminal. Then, a transmission power is associated (23) with the radio resources previously allocated to the selected terminal, so as to reduce the total transmission power allocated to the selected terminal. The previous steps are repeated (24) as long as at least one available radio resource fulfills an allocation condition.

  • Publication number: 20090054076
Abstract: A method for locating a terminal in an environment equipped with a set of telecommunication terminal devices of a local wireless network, using a reference database previously stored with a plurality of vectors respectively associated with a plurality of different points of said environment, wherein each vector has, as components, values of powers received from the various terminal devices by a terminal positioned at the point associated with this vector, wherein the terminal includes inertial measurement means, comprising measuring, from the terminal, the powers received from at least some of the telecommunication terminal devices; delivering, as a position result, an identification of the point at which the terminal is located, which point is defined as that where the associated reference vector is closest to the vector formed by the powers measured from the terminal; filtering the position result delivered, and taking into account inertial navigation data provided by the inertial measurement means; and cor
