Patent number: 11361058Abstract: A method used in a mobile equipment for authenticating or identifying a user based on his face includes acquiring a sequence of biometric face sample corresponding to successive image frames of the user in a Trusted Execution Environment of the mobile equipment, and, in the Trusted Execution Environment, modifying or replacing some of the biometric face samples in the sequence, so as to generate a modified sequence with test biometric face samples. The method includes transmitting the modified sequence to a Rich Execution Environment of the mobile equipment, and classifying at least one portion of the biometric face samples using a classifier in the Rich Execution Environment, so as to generate for each classified biometric face sample a set of intermediary outputs and a classification result.Type: GrantFiled: December 27, 2018Date of Patent: June 14, 2022Assignee: KeyLemon S.A.Inventors: Francois Moulin, Alain Fogel

Patent number: 11042725Abstract: A method for selecting frames used in face processing includes capturing video data featuring a face of an individual and determining with a processing unit at least one image quality indicator for at least some frames in the video data. The quality indicator is used for selecting a subset of the frames and a sequence of frames is determined corresponding to a movement of a body portion detected in the video data and/or corresponding to a response window during which a response to a challenge should be given. At least one second frame is added to the subset within a predefined interval before or after the sequence and the selected frames are stored in a memory.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 2016Date of Patent: June 22, 2021Assignee: Keylemon SAInventors: Yann Rodriguez, François Moulin, Sébastien Piccand, Sara Sedlar

Patent number: 4640055Abstract: In a grinding machine for beveling or grooving an ophthalmic lens in guided or non-guided modes, the support shaft for the grinding tool is mounted to be movable relative to that carrying the ophthalmic lens to be processed. Associated with it are displacement means adapted to procure its guided displacement parallel to its axis. Between this mobile support shaft and the associated displacement means are selectively engageable coupling means. These procure either axial displacement of the mobile support shaft by virtue of the drive action of said displacement means or disengagement relative to said displacement means at least.Type: GrantFiled: September 6, 1985Date of Patent: February 3, 1987Assignee: Essilor International Cie Generale d'OptiqueInventors: Suzan Badin, Jean-Francois Moulin, Luc Delattre, Patrice Renan

Patent number: 4612732Abstract: A machine for grinding ophthalmic lenses comprises a frame and a support to which an ophthalmic lens to be processed may be attached pivoted to the frame about an axis parallel to the axis of the grinding tool. A counterweight on the support is movable relative to the frame in a direction orthogonal to the pivot axis. A drive device controls movement of the counterweight. A guide cam is disposed on the path of movement of the counterweight. The machine may be used for trimming and/or bevelling or grooving an ophthalmic lens.Type: GrantFiled: May 30, 1985Date of Patent: September 23, 1986Assignee: Essilor International Cie Generale d'OptiqueInventors: Luc Delattre, Jean-Francois Moulin, Suzan Badin

Patent number: 4001255Abstract: The process for the production of a cyanopyridine by the conversion of a monoalkylpyridine, the alkyl having one to four carbon atoms, with (a) oxygen or air and (b) ammonia in the gaseous phase in the presence of one of several specific catalysts is known. The improvement involves the use of a catalyst which consists of pure V.sub.2 O.sub.5 having a grain size of 50 to 500.mu. and a specific surface of up to 10 m.sup.2 /g and conducting the reaction at a temperature which is calculated according to the formula T = S.m + b, wherein T is the reaction temperature in .degree.C., S is the specific surface of the catalyst in m.sup.2 /g, m is a factor of -4 to -6 and b a number from 320 to 322. Preferably the catalyst has a grain size of 100 to 250.mu.. The molar ratio of the air to the monoalkylpyridine can be from 80:1 to 300:1, and preferably is from 150:1 to 260:1. The molar ratio of the ammonia to the monoalkylpyridine can be from 3.5:1 to 12:1, and preferably is from 4:1 to 9:1.Type: GrantFiled: August 2, 1974Date of Patent: January 4, 1977Assignee: Lonza Ltd.Inventors: Francois Moulin, Karl-Josef Boosen
