  • Patent number: 11797897
Abstract: A method is provided for placing sensors in a fluid distribution network by simulating network operating scenarios; by determining candidate sets of sensor positions; by determining the measurements of each sensor in each scenario, and the detection of associated anomalies; by attributing a score to each candidate set of sensor positions, representing the capacity of the sensors placed in the positions of the set to accomplish a mission. Finally, the candidate sets are modified using so-called genetic algorithms until a stop criterion is validated. The genetic algorithms can for example consist in crossing over or mutating candidate sets.

  • Publication number: 20210012791
Abstract: A system and method for receiving, using one or more processors, a first conversation; identifying, using the one or more processors, a first set of utterances associated with a first conversation participant and a second set of utterances associated with a second conversation participant; and generating, using the one or more processors, a first image representation of the first conversation, the first image representation of the first conversation visually representing the first set of utterances and second set of utterances, wherein an utterance is visually represented by a first parameter associated with timing of the utterance, a second parameter associated with a number of tokens in the utterance, and a third parameter associated with which conversation participant was a source of the utterance.

  • Patent number: 7092823
Abstract: The invention is a method of estimating, from data obtained by exploration of a zone of a heterogeneous medium, a model representative of a distribution, in the zone, of at least one physical quantity, the model being free of a presence of correlated noises that may be contained in the data which has application to determining the distribution in an underground zone of acoustic impedance, propagation velocities and permeabilities, etc.

  • Publication number: 20050075791
Abstract: A method of forming, from data obtained by exploration of a zone of a heterogeneous medium, a model representative of the distribution in the zone of at least one physical quantity amply free of the presence of correlated noises that may be contained in the data is disclosed. The method essentially comprises the following stages any acquisition of data giving information about certain characteristics of the zone, specification of a modelling operator which associates the response of the model with a model (synthetic data), modelling of each correlated noise by applying a specific modelling operator to a noise-generating function (n.g.f.), specification of a semi-norm in the data space, specification, in each n.g.f. space, of a norm for which each noise modelling operator constitutes an isometry, and seeking, the model and the n.g.f.

  • Patent number: 6056832
Abstract: Process for producing a sheet or strip for making a can obtained by drawing and ironing from a steel having the following composition in percentage by weight: Carbon less than 0.008%, Manganese between 0.10 and 0.30%, Nitrogen less than 0.006%, Aluminium between 0.01 and 0.06%, Phosphorus less than 0.015%, Sulphur less than 0.020%, Silicon less than 0.020%, a maximum of 0.08% of one or more elements selected from copper, nickel and chromium, the remainder being iron and residual impurities, in which process the slab is hot rolled into a hot sheet or strip having a thickness less than 3 mm, and then the hot sheet or strip is cold rolled with a reduction of between 83 and 92% and subjected to a recrystallization annealing and cold rerolled with a reduction of between 10 and 40%.
