Where the joint arthroscopy involves shoulder arthroplasty, a PSI system includes at least one shoulder PSI operable to be positioned on a bone in a shoulder in the patient. The at least one shoulder PSI allow for the transfer of preoperative planning to intra-operative procedures. The at least one shoulder PSI may be virtually designed as a model based on scan data of the bone in the shoulder of the patient. The at least one shoulder PSI may be fabricated based on the virtually-designed at least one shoulder PSI model.
