  • Patent number: 11156980
Abstract: A method determines an optimized cutting plan for using a guillotine to cut a batch of rectangular pieces of glass out from at least one sheet of glass. The method includes initializing including defining cutting constraints and positioning constraints for the pieces together with an optimization criterion; creating a tree comprising a root, leaves, each presenting a complete cutting plan enabling all of the pieces of the batch to be cut out, the cutting plan associated with a node of the tree being obtained by adding to the partial cutting plan associated with the parent node of the node, and in compliance with the constraints, the next piece for the frame determined in compliance with the sequence predetermined for the frame; and selecting a complete cutting plan associated with a leaf of the tree as a function of the optimization criterion.

  • Patent number: 10816391
Abstract: At least one acoustic parameter of an environment is obtained by emitting a sound signal emitted, receiving a sound signal received, estimating a sampling frequency shift and of a temporal shift between the emission and reception devices on the basis of impulse responses obtained on the basis of portions of the sound signal received and of corresponding portions of the sound signal emitted, obtaining a corrected sound signal received by applying to the sound signal received a sampling frequency shift correction and a temporal shift correction on the basis of the estimating, determining the impulse response of the environment on the basis of portions of the corrected sound signal received and of corresponding portions of the sound signal emitted, and obtaining acoustic parameters of the environment on the basis of the impulse response.

  • Patent number: 9669558
Abstract: A method for cutting out pieces of glass from a glass sheet, includes, a step of automatic generation by a computer with a storage unit, containing programs to calculate a first optimum plan for guillotine cutting at a number of hierarchical levels of different pieces from each of the glass sheet, as a function of information; a step of reading information relating to defects in the glass sheet, a step of automatic generation by a computer with a storage unit, containing programs to calculate a second optimum plan for guillotine cutting at a number of hierarchical levels from the glass sheet, based on the first optimum cutting plan and at least some of the information relating to the defects, including permutations of cross cut sections at the same hierarchical level within the glass sheet; a step of cutting pieces of glass in accordance with the second optimum cutting plan generated.
