  • Patent number: 10880064
Abstract: There is provided a server unit in a communication network implementing a MIMO wireless communication, the server unit being configured to receive data from a backhaul transport network and perform baseband processing, the server unit being configured to transmit a data signal derived from the processed data to a remote unit over a number of MIMO layers, through a fronthaul link. The data signal transmitted to the remote unit comprising physical user data and physical control data. The server unit comprises a control data mapper configured to select at least one MIMO layer, the control data mapper being further configured to map at least a part of the control data to the at least one selected MIMO layers. The server unit is configured to send a copy of the physical user data on each MIMO layer, and the control data on the selected MIMO layers mapped thereto.

  • Publication number: 20140025804
Abstract: The transmission of flows are formed of data packets, by a communication host possessing a set of output points enabling the transmission of the flows. The flows are routed to one point from among the set of output points based on routing information determined by characteristics of the flows wherein a remote server is queried in order to receive at least part of the routing information.

  • Publication number: 20130005389
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for managing a P2P network (100) wherein a peer (1041) requiring a transmission of resources from at least one providing peer (1042) has to select said providing peer (1042) among a list (118) of peers (1042, 1045, 122) hosting said resources, characterized in that, said requiring peer (1041) and said hosting peers (1042, 1045, 122) being mobile terminals linked to a cellular (102, 103, 105, 120) network, it comprises the following steps:—The step of associating said requiring peer (1041) and each of said hosting peers (1042, 1045, 122) with their physical location within the cellular (102, 103, 105, 120) network,—The step of determining a distance between the requiring peer (1041) and each of the hosting peers (1042, 1045, 122) on the basis of their physical locations within the cellular network (102, 103, 105, 120), and—The step of selecting the providing peer (1042) according to a distance criterion which takes into account the determined distances between the requiring pe
