  • Publication number: 20170175068
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for coating a solid support which is suitable for being used in cell culture applications. The method comprises a step in which a solution of a carrier protein, which comprises attached thereto or as a part of its amino acid sequence at least one cell function- modulating peptide sequence, is heated to at least 50° C. and incubated same under conditions which result in the formation of soluble carrier protein aggregates comprising between 2 and 1000 protein molecules. Subsequently, the protein aggregates are brought into contact with the solid support under conditions that allow for the non-covalent adsorption of the aggregates to the support. The invention also relates to a coated solid support having non-covalently adsorbed on its surface at least one of the above-mentioned aggregate of carrier proteins aggregates.

Abstract: The present invention is related to a method for the identification and/or the quantification of a target compound obtained from a sample, preferably a biological sample, comprising the steps of putting into contact the target compound with a capture molecule in order in order to allow a specific binding between said target compound with a capture molecule, said capture molecule being fixed upon a surface of a solid support according to an array comprising a density of at least 20 discrete regions per cm2, each of said discrete regions being fixed with one species of capture molecules, performing a reaction leading to a precipitate formed at the location of said binding, determining the possible presence of precipitate(s) in discrete region(s), and correlating the presence of the precipitate(s) at the discrete region(s) with the identification and/or a quantification of said target compound.

  • Patent number: 7205104
Abstract: A method for identifying or quantifying an organism by a detecting its nucleotide sequence among at least 4 other homologous sequences comprising amplifying nucleic acids from the organism to generate target nucleotide sequences to be detected; contacting the target nucleotide sequences with single stranded capture nucleotide sequences bound by a single predetermined link to an insoluble solid support and discriminating the binding of a target nucleotide sequence specific of an organism with a signal resulting from a hybridization by complementary base pairing between the target nucleotide sequence and its corresponding capture nucleotide sequence is disclosed. The capture nucleotide sequence is bound to the insoluble solid support at a specific location on an array having a density of at least 4 different bound single stranded capture nucleotide sequences/cm2. The location of the signal on the array allows identification or quantification of the organism.

  • Publication number: 20040229225
Abstract: The invention provides a tool for the easy interpretation of the changes occurring in a cell, being a three dimensional complex and control system, by analyzing a limited number of data obtained by quantifying the intensity of the signals present on spots distributed in a two dimensional surface. These signals intensities are related to the level of genes or gene products present in the cells and after processing and data analysis, they provide an absolute or relative quantification of these genes and gene products present in the analyzed cell or tissue or organisms. The invention also provides a list of cellular functions, which are essential in order to obtain an overview of the modifications occurring in the vital or specific cellular functions under specific biological conditions.
