Patent number: 8973343Abstract: A trimmer assembly for attachment onto the mower deck of a riding mower. The assembly comprises an L-shaped attachment and a height adjustment assembly. The L-shaped attachment is connected to the trim blade spindle of a riding mower, and comprises a pulley surface and a downwardly extending trim shaft holding surface. A series of pulleys within the L-shaped attachment are connected together by a trimmer drive belt that facilitates the movement of the trimmer shaft when the trim blade spindle rotates. The height adjustment comprises an upstanding shaft with a lever attached thereon. The lever is pivotally attached onto the top of the upstanding shaft, and comprises a foot actuatable handle, whereby the movement of the handle alters the height of the L-shaped attachment. The device further includes a pair of wheels that enable side-to-side movement, and a spring loaded mount that provides protection against damages from impacts.Type: GrantFiled: December 13, 2013Date of Patent: March 10, 2015Inventor: Frank Bell

Publication number: 20050200144Abstract: A device designed to lift and move precast concrete pipes in a level manner. This device, once fabricated into one solid steel piece, will be able to lift a tremendous amount of weight, while allowing coworkers to maintain a safe distance.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 18, 2004Publication date: September 15, 2005Inventor: Frank Bell

Patent number: 6196104Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing sheets of polymeric surfacing, the sheets produced thereby, and the apparatus used to produce the sheets. The method includes providing a solid polymeric slab, and slicing the slab into sheets of surfacing. The sheets may include polymeric particles contained in a polymeric matrix. The particles may have a maximum linear dimension that is greater than the final thickness of the sheets, thereby resulting in an aesthetically pleasing “chunky” appearance. The apparatus used to slice the sheets produces a relatively smooth, uniform surface, and is capable of dramatically limiting the amount of variation in thickness within a finished sheet.Type: GrantFiled: April 23, 1998Date of Patent: March 6, 2001Assignee: Premark RWP Holdings, Inc.Inventors: Frank Bell Cloud, Robert Edward Respess

Patent number: 4696349Abstract: An implement-mounting linkage mechanism for pivotally connecting a frame to a wheeled implement is disclosed. The mechanism is preferably used for pivotally connecting a wheeled load-bearing frame to the backside of a wheeled farm implement. The frame includes wheels adjustable relative to the frame for raising and lowering the frame relative to the ground. The frame preferably includes a plurality of soil-engaging ground-tool implements mounted thereon. The mounting-linkage mechanism of the present invention incorporates a novel non-parallel four-point design which virtually eliminates negative hitch weight when the frame is raised above the ground, in the static case. On the other hand, the novel design results in a net downward force being imposed upon the ground-tool implements when the frame is lowered for soil engagement, in the dynamic case.Type: GrantFiled: January 31, 1986Date of Patent: September 29, 1987Assignee: J. Patent number: 4669003Abstract: This method and apparatus for eliminating apparent offset in the servo code adjacent to a guard band on a magnetic memory disc utilizes at least two phases of servo code per magnetic cell for seeking and track centering, or track following, operations and two phases or guard band code per magnetic cell. The two phases or guard band code are each either in phase or similarly out of phase with the respective phases of the servo code in individual magnetic cells.Phase locking on a selected phase of guard band code is achieved by providing a synchronizing code in the guard band using an irregular pattern of guard band code, providing a timing signal count representing a cell count, for example, decoding the synchronizing code to provide an end of code signal and utilizing the end of code signal and a predetermined cell count signal to achieve phase locking on the correct phase of the guard band code.Type: GrantFiled: May 2, 1986Date of Patent: May 26, 1987Assignee: Hewlett-Packard CompanyInventors: R.
