  • Patent number: 9802032
Abstract: A connecting module is provided with a first connecting component, which has a first fluid channel and a first contact surface, a second connecting component, which has a second fluid channel and a second contact surface. One of the two contact surfaces is formed as an inner surface and the other of the two contact surfaces is formed as an outer surface which is complementary to the inner surface. The connecting module further includes a receiving sleeve with a first threaded section and a first connecting device for the first connecting component. The first connecting component has a second connecting device, which interacts with the first connecting device in such a way that the first connecting component is detachably connected to the receiving sleeve. The second connecting component has a second threaded section which is complementary to the first threaded section.

  • Publication number: 20170172718
Abstract: An injection device for administration of an injection to an animal can include a main body, which contains an injection instrument, a contact device, which has a contact area which is shaped in conformity with a body part of the animal to which the injection is to be administered. A support device which supports the contact device on the main body can be movable in a pressure application direction. A force measurement device including at least one force sensor can be designed to measure at last one force with which the contact device acts on the main body. A control device can activate the injection instrument if the force measured by the force measurement device lies in a specified range.

  • Publication number: 20160263321
Abstract: A syringe includes a first syringe barrel and a second syringe barrel. Each barrel includes a delivery end to which an end piece with a channel is secured, a piston which is arranged movable in the syringe barrel and can be moved towards the delivery end in order to deliver a fluid located between the delivery end and the piston via the channel. The two syringe barrels are mechanically connected to each other such that the distance between them cannot be changed. At least one of the two end pieces can be secured to the allocated delivery end in different positions for adjustment of the distance between the two channels.

  • Publication number: 20150039038
Abstract: An orthopedic screw fastener system which includes at least two screws and at least one bone plate. At least one screw is a locking screw comprising a screw head and a screw shank, the screw head being provided with a thread. At least one other screw is a non-locking screw comprising a non-threaded (i.e., smooth) screw head and a screw shank. The at least one bone plate has a thickness and it has at least two through-bores which are able to receive screws. The plate has two or more through-openings, each formed by at least two through-bores, each through-bore being defined by a midpoint and by a radius, and the through-bores are offset relative to each other and intersect each other in such a way that intersection lines and/or intersection surfaces extend into the depth of the through-opening.

  • Publication number: 20080119855
Abstract: In order to simplify the implantation of an orthopedic fixation system for securing a first bone fragment to a second bone fragment with a support screw which can be screwed into the first bone fragment by means of a bone thread, with a support sleeve surrounding the support screw and guiding this so as to be freely displaceable in longitudinal direction and with a bone plate which has at least one threaded bore, can be secured to the second bone fragment and into the threaded bore of which the support sleeve can be screwed by means of an external thread, it is suggested that the bone thread, on the one hand, and the threaded bore and the external thread, on the other hand, have the same pitch of the thread turns and that the bone thread have one thread turn and the threaded bore as well as the external thread have at least two thread turns located next to one another with a correspondingly smaller width of each thread turn.

  • Publication number: 20050080487
Abstract: An intervertebral implant is provided for insertion between first and second vertebral bodies defining an intervertebral space. The intervertebral implant includes a first anchoring part for anchoring the intervertebral implant at the first vertebral body, a second anchoring part for anchoring the intervertebral implant at the second vertebral body, and a joint connecting the first and second anchoring parts. Joint elements of a first joint part are configured to mesh with respective ones of intermediate spaces of a second joint part and joint elements of the second joint part are configured to mesh with respective ones of intermediate spaces of the first joint part upon insertion of the intervertebral implant into the intervertebral space, thereby facilitating the tilting of the first and second anchoring parts in relation to one another.
