  • Patent number: 7922057
Abstract: Embodiments include a stapler with a built-in staple remover, the staple remover movable between a non-operational position where it is retracted in a stapler body of the stapler and locked by a locking device and an operational position where it is partly extended from the stapler body, the staple remover being acted upon by a first elastic unit which is tensioned when the staple remover is in the non-operational position and which pushes the staple remover to the operational position when the locking device is released in the non-operational position.

  • Patent number: 7726535
Abstract: A stapler for stapling together a workpiece, primarily a sheaf of papers, in which the stapler comprises a stapling unit and an anvil, which interacts with the stapling unit and on which the workpiece is placed, and against which stapling is performed, which stapling unit and an anvil are, driven relative to each other in a reciprocating stapling movement, during which movement stapling takes place, the stapling unit comprises a frame and a staple cassette which houses staple blanks and which is exchangeable, and which is detachably connected to the frame by attachment devices, and the staple blanks are fed one by one to an outlet channel by a feeding device incorporated in the stapler.

  • Publication number: 20100006618
Abstract: A stapler (1) using staples for stapling together a workpiece (5), particularly a sheaf of papers, which stapler comprises a base part (3) against which the workpiece is placed, a magazine part (4) in which the staples are stored and a built-in staple remover arrangement (7) comprising a staple remover (8) which is movable between a non-operational first position where it is re-tracted in the stapler body (2) and locked by a locking device (9) and an operational second position where it is partly extended from the stapler body, the staple remover (8) being acted upon by a first elastic means (10) which is tensioned when the staple remover is in a non-operational position and which pushes the staple remover to the extended position when the locking device (9) is released in the non-operational position.

  • Patent number: 6637635
Abstract: A clinching mechanism has an anvil composed of first (1), second (2) and third (3) plates arranged in a spaced apart stack with the second plate (2) positioned between the other two. The plates (1, 2, 3) are mounted on a housing (43) so as to be slidable relative thereto and the second plate is also connected to the first and third plates (1, 3) so as to be slidably movable relative to said first and third plates between a first aligned position in which at least one edge of the first, second and third plates (1, 2, 3) are aligned to form and anvil face and a second retracted position in which the second plate (2) is retracted from the anvil face. With the second plate in its aligned position, a staple to be clinched in received with its two legs (72) on either side of the second plate (2), the second plate operating to guide the legs (72) into engagement with associated clinching device (7, 8, 17, 18) positioned between the first and second, and the second and third plates.
