    Abstract: Control device for saving fuel in multi-cylinder engines wherein any selected number of cylinders may be removed from the power cycle of the engine by selectively bringing into and out of working operation the intake and exhaust valves of the respective cylinders. Such cylinders each have movable intake and exhaust push rods in mechanical relation to the rocker arms of the engine for forcing the rocker arms to selectively open and close the intake and exhaust valves. Hydraulic fluid is selectively connected in fluid communication with such intake push rods and exhaust push rods.
