  • Publication number: 20220267651
Abstract: Disclosed herein are D3 water-resistant adhesive compositions comprising aqueous copolymer dispersions and uses of such compositions. The compositions are useful as binders for porous and semi-porous substrates such as wood, paper, and/or board. Importantly, the adhesive compositions have very low formaldehyde content and little or no plasticizer content.

  • Patent number: 8635897
Abstract: A profiling arrangement for the longitudinal shaping of a metal band or starting profile into a profile or tube is provided, and includes a plurality of shaping stations 10 that are arranged in a line one behind the other and in each of which a group of roller shaping tools is assembled and are run through in succession by the metal band or starting profile, as well as with a machine substructure on which the shaping stations are mounted. In addition, on or next to the machine substructure, there are linear guides with driven carriages that can move in and against a direction of motion of the metal band or profile for the holding of tools, manipulators, and the like acting on the profile.

  • Patent number: 8485012
Abstract: A cold rolling method for manufacturing a profile (16) from a one-piece rolling stock in form of initial material (6; 56) with a plurality of rolls (26, 36, 46; 6, 76, 86) each having a deforming region (28, 38, 48; 68, 78, 88) for deforming the initial material (6; 56) includes bending the initial material (6; 56) with formation at least one folded section (8) extending in a rolling direction of the initial material (6; 56), and deforming the initial material (6; 56) in its width direction with reduction of its thickness at least in one region.

  • Publication number: 20120210762
Abstract: A cold-rolling method of forming a profile formed of a strip-shaped rolling stock and having thickness-reduced section (16) and at least one thickened region (21, 22) provided in a region of at least one bend (17, 18) of the profile, includes deforming a strip-shaped rolled metal stock in at least one region for forming the thickness-reduced section, with simultaneous accumulation of the initial material in a region adjacent to the thickness-reduced section so that a thickened region is formed adjacent to the thickness-reduced section, and bending the deformed rolled metal stock section into the profile.

  • Patent number: 8047041
Abstract: A method of reducing thickness of unbroken rolling stock (14) by longitudinal rolling includes deforming the rolling stock (14) in the width direction with deformation regions (26 to 29; 86 to 88) of the rolls (22 to 25; 82 to 84) penetrating in the rolling stock to the same depth.

  • Patent number: 5788896
Abstract: A method of producing micron sized sulphur granules involving the following described steps. Firstly, heating sulphur until the sulphur becomes molten. Secondly, tempering water and inducing movement of the water at velocity. Thirdly, injecting an unbroken stream of the molten sulphur under pressure into the heated water moving at velocity. An explosive dispersion of the molten sulphur into fine sulphur granules occurs, enhanced by shear forces exerted by the movement of the heated water at velocity. The described method is capable of producing spherical sulphur granules within a broad range of 70 microns to submicron sizes. In the preferred ranges, spherical sulphur granules of less than 10 microns are be obtained.
