  • Patent number: 9776524
Abstract: A method is described for operating a motor vehicle which is driven with the aid of an electric machine, the electric machine being supplied with electrical energy from an energy store which is charged by an external energy source. To ensure that the driver receives the information concerning readiness for continued travel of the vehicle at the point in time when sufficient energy is present in the energy store in order to reliably reach the intended destination or to cover a predetermined route, the motor vehicle is notified of a destination and/or a route, and the motor vehicle is connected to the external energy source for charging the energy store, the motor vehicle outputting information as to when the energy store has been charged with sufficient energy to reach the destination or to cover the route, and the driver stopping at a next charging station in particular after having reached the destination or having covered the route.

  • Patent number: 9452780
Abstract: A driver assistance system for a motor vehicle includes: a longitudinal guide controller; a transverse guide controller; at least one operating element via which the transverse guide controller is able to be activated only in common with, or in addition to, the longitudinal guide controller; a steering sensor which detects an operation of the steering wheel by the driver, the transverse guide controller being able to be deactivated by a signal of the steering sensor without the longitudinal guide controller being deactivated; and a brake pedal sensor which detects an operation of the brake pedal of the vehicle, the transverse guide controller and the longitudinal guide controller being able to be deactivated by a signal of the brake pedal sensor.

  • Publication number: 20130338875
Abstract: A method for determining a power reserve of an electric drive, particularly for use in a drive train of a motor vehicle, having the steps: determining a power limit of the electric drive which forms the limit of the convertible power of the electric drive; recording a requested, provided or applied torque of the electric drive; determining a power reserve which forms a power that is implementable above the requested, provided or applied torque within the determined power limit of the electric drive; and displaying the power reserve using a display.

  • Publication number: 20120127311
Abstract: A method for calibrating an image recording system in a motor vehicle, image data being recorded via a camera system from an area which is illuminated by a lighting unit of the motor vehicle, and a modulation of the radiation emitted by the lighting unit being performed to determine the illuminated area.
