  • Patent number: 9506994
Abstract: A sensor apparatus comprises a first magnetic transducer which in use is positioned on a first side of a barrier and a second magnetic transducer which in use is positioned on a second side of the barrier opposite the first side. The second transducer comprises a magnetic or electrical property which is dependent upon a sensible condition on the second side of the barrier, such as the pressure or temperature on the second side of the barrier. In operation, the first transducer generates a first magnetic field which induces the second transducer to generate a second magnetic field that is dependent upon the magnetic or electrical property of the second transducer. The first transducer detects the second magnetic field and generates a signal which is representative of the sensible condition on the second side of the barrier.

  • Publication number: 20070045021
Abstract: A personal mobility vehicle includes a frame, a ground engaging front wheel connected to the frame and mounted for rotation about a substantially, vertical axis so the front wheel is a steerable wheel, and a drive motor connected to either the front wheel or the rear wheels, the drive motor being configured to drive the scooter. Two or more ground engaging rear wheels are connected to the frame and configured to support the frame. A tiller assembly is connected to the frame and configured to allow the vehicle user to steer the front wheel. A steering hub is connected to the frame and configured to rotatably support the tiller assembly, wherein the steering hub is forward of and spaced apart from the front wheel.

  • Publication number: 20050093321
Abstract: An overhead console assembly for a vehicle. The console assembly is mounted to extend in an overhead position between the windshield of the vehicle and a portion of the safety bar arrangement. The console assembly is intended to stay in place whether or not the vehicle has a top. Additionally, the console assembly is designed to be used with any number of conventional hard and soft tops without interfering with their attachment to the vehicle or normal operation.
