  • Publication number: 20130052345
Abstract: A method of forming a porous elastomeric composition and an infill for installation at the base of trees and signs comprising the steps of encapsulating recycled rubber—styrene butadiene rubber (SBR)—with pigmented polyurethane to form cured SBR granules, mixing the coloured SBR granules with a polyurethane based moisture curing prepolymer to form an uncured porous polymeric composition, applying the uncured porous polymeric composition to the base of a tree or sign, tamping the uncured porous polymeric composition until its uppermost surface is level with a surrounding area and allowing the porous polymeric composition to set.

  • Publication number: 20060080324
Abstract: Provided is a method for online reorganization and increasing the page size of a DB2 object. A base table and related auxiliary table spaces are reorganized concurrently via a database utility, DB2 REORG utility. The database utility determines which auxiliary tables are related to the base table and automatically includes their respective auxiliary table in the same invocation of the utility. The reorganization is performed via allocated shadow data sets; page size of the allocated shadow data sets is dynamically updated during reorganization. The original data sets are switched with the newly built shadow data sets, and DB2 catalog values and control blocks are updated with new page size values.

  • Patent number: 5993897
Abstract: The invention concerns the production of a pre-mixed porous polymeric composition wherein granules of rubber are encapsulated with a first pre-polymer which is cured, a second uncured pre-polymer is then mixed with the encapsulated granules in a substantially moisture-free environment, the mixture is deposited into containers substantially impermeable to water vapor and is then stored for later use so that without further mixing it may be applied to a suitable sub-base surface and the second pre-polymer is allowed to polymerize by reaction with water.

  • Patent number: 5913816
Abstract: An intubation device comprises an imaging conduit including an illumination conduit for delivering illumination to a distal end of the device and an image-receiving conduit for communicating images from the distal end of the device to the proximal end of the device. The device also comprises a flushing conduit for delivery of fluids and/or gases to the distal end of the device. The image conduit and the flushing conduit are attached at the distal end of the device. The distal end of the device can be manipulated by advancing the imaging conduit in an axial direction while maintaining the flushing conduit fixed in place. Furthermore, a length adjustment member is provided for adjusting the extent to which the distal end of the device extends beyond a distal end of an endotracheal tube which is inserted over the imaging and flushing conduits. The illuminating conduit and the image-receiving conduit terminate in separate ports at the distal end of the device.

  • Patent number: 4501533
Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for delivering a stream of liquid material under pressure. The apparatus includes a base having a motor mounted thereon. A diaphragm pump is mounted on the base and is connected to the motor by a drive assembly. The diaphragm pump has a reservoir tank connected to it. A circulatory system circulates a pump liquid between the pump and the reservoir tank. An air check valve is connected to the circulatory system to allow air to be introduced into the circulatory system when the liquid material is prevented from being pumped out of the diaphragm pump. A collapsible container support is mounted on the base. A liquid material container is removably mounted in the container support for storing a liquid material prior to delivery to the diaphragm pump.
