Abstract: Various embodiments include an electric machine with: a stator with a plurality of grooves for receiving a stator winding wherein a respective conductor section of the stator winding is inserted into each groove of the plurality of grooves. The respective conductor sections of a pole pair are short-circuited with one another on a first side of the stator. Each of the conductor sections is connected on a second side of the stator opposite the first side to a connection of a power supply unit. The power supply unit comprises two conductors electrically connected to an electronic power component. The electronic power component is arranged on a cooling body at least partially covering the second side of the stator.
