  • Patent number: 11105654
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and device for warning a user of a vehicle with an energy storage unit against an energy shortage. According to the present disclosure, an energy quantity is determined that is stored in the energy storage unit at a branching point of a path driven on by the vehicle, and a direction option of the vehicle at the branching point is selected. Further, the one route is determined that is associated with the direction option and starts at the branching point, on which the vehicle is able to reach with the lowest expected energy requirement an energy charging location at which the energy storage unit can be charged. The energy requirement is compared with the energy quantity, and a warning indication is outputted with which the user is warned against the direction option if the energy requirement is greater than the energy quantity.

  • Patent number: 10974704
Abstract: The invention relates to a rail vehicle brake system comprising a conditioning device, having at least one disc brake per axle, the conditioning device having a control device. The conditioning device is formed having at least one wagon control unit and at least one coupling unit for selective actuation of the at least one disc brake per axle. The invention further relates to a conditioning device and to a method for operating a conditioning device, and to a method for deicing and/or for preventing icing of a brake unit of a rail vehicle brake system.

  • Publication number: 20180176635
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for reproducing broadcast programs by a broadcast receiver device. The method includes: receiving a broadcast program by a receiving unit, checking, if an actual program content of the received broadcast program corresponds to a predetermined program content, by a calculating unit, buffering the received broadcast program in the reproduction buffer unit, as long as the actual program content corresponds to the predetermined program content, reproducing the buffered broadcast program by a reproduction unit with a reproduction velocity, which is lower than a receiving velocity, with which the buffered broadcast program was received, and tuning the receiving unit to another broadcast program, so that instead of the received broadcast program the other broadcast program will be received, as soon as one of the actual program content does not correspond to the predetermined program content.
