  • Patent number: 4682129
Abstract: A filter connector for attenuating frequencies up to 1000 MHz having a conductive housing enclosing a planar filter element. Rows of conductive pins and associated capacitors are mounted on the filter element and there is a ground plane over one or both surfaces of the filter element. The pins pass through holes in each ground plane without touching it.

Date of Patent: July 21, 1987
Assignee: E. I. Du Pont de Nemours and Company
Inventors: Frank C. Bakermans, Charles J. Trexler
  • Patent number: 4396457
Abstract: Mechanically punching bumps in a thin copper or aluminum foil and etching the foil to form beams with a bump at the end of each beam. Alternatively increasing the layers by casting or gluing polyimide film to the foil and etching the polyimide film in designated areas to expose the copper or aluminum.

  • Patent number: 4345955
Abstract: Preparing multilayer ceramic (MLC) modules by injection molding a mixture of a fine particulate such as alumina and a binder into a mold containing predesigned ridges and pins. The product is a green body layer of ceramic containing grooves and vias that is thereafter metallized with a conductive paste and laminated to other like layers of ceramic. Solvent extraction of the binder and sintering of the MLC forms the module.
