MULTI-AXIAL, THIN WALL, BLOW-MOLDED PLASTIC STRUCTURES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PACKAGING CUSHIONING
Publication number: 20230021318Abstract: A multi-axial blow-molded packing cushion is a resilient, hollow, thin-walled, generally parallelepiped blow-molded body, having opposite ends, each end defining a groove thereacross. The grooves are each sized and shaped to receive opposite edges of a rectangular opening in a packing insert. Each packing cushion may be snap-fitted into the packing insert rectangular opening by sliding a first end of the packing cushion into a rectangular opening, aligning a first groove defined across the first end of the packing cushion with a first edge of the rectangular opening and pressing down on the packing cushion to snap-fit a second groove defined across a second end of the packing cushion over a second edge of the rectangular opening, with the second grove aligned with the second edge of the rectangular opening. The packing insert, with maintained cushions, is disposed between a packed item and outer packaging, on each item side.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 20, 2021Publication date: January 26, 2023Applicant: Dell Products, L.P.Inventors: Oliver Frank Campbell, Steven Alagna -

Publication number: 20060156633Abstract: A window sash is formed from a pair of one-piece injection molded sash body members having substantially the same mechanical configuration. Each sash body member has an inner, facing surface and a non-facing surface. The facing surface of each sash body member is provided with a plurality of locators of two different types, arranged about axis of anti-symmetry. The two different types of locators are complementary to one another, and so are configured to engage each other. This allows a window sash to be formed of substantially identical components that are mated together. Each sash member may be provided, on its facing surface, with a weld wall that is set back from the outer sash member edges. The window sash may be assembled after heating the weld walls and joining the two substantially identical sash members.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 3, 2005Publication date: July 20, 2006Applicant: Andersen CorporationInventors: James Guhl, David Weiss, Frank Campbell, Kathleen Barton, Craig Johnson

Publication number: 20050033216Abstract: An ankle support utilizes a strap having a first end and a second end. The first end forms a loop adapted to go around a user's foot and the second end is adapted to go around the user, proximate the user's ankle. A loop member is operatively connected to the first end and the second end passes through the loop member, whereby pulling on the second end tightens both the first end and the second end. In other embodiments, the ankle support may utilize a body being operatively connected thereto. In other embodiments, the ankle support is operatively connected to a shoe.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 7, 2003Publication date: February 10, 2005Inventor: Frank Campbell

Patent number: 5921772Abstract: The two piece rider assembly consist of a base piece that is welded to the skid pipe of a steel slab reheat furnace and a top piece that is removably attached to the base piece. The base piece has a cut out slot divided into three sections. The center section has strait walls and the front and back sections have walls that slope into the cut out to reduce the cross sectional distance. The cut out is open at the front section. The top piece has two protrusions with dove tail looking cross sections that fit into the front and back sections of the cut out slot of the base piece. The tip of the dove tail protrusion is wider than the neck of the cut out slot in the base piece so that upward movement is prevented when they are engaged. The protrusions are separated by at least the distance of the front section of the cut out slot of the base piece.Type: GrantFiled: March 23, 1998Date of Patent: July 13, 1999Assignee: C & H Alloy Skid Riders CompanyInventors: C. Patent number: 5801792Abstract: A single gun projection cathode ray tube (CRT) which permits the generation of high brightness image output. The crux of the invention is the provision, in the CRT, of an optically reflecting high thermal conductivity metal plate-like member positioned in the path of the electron beam, the surface of the metal plate-like member, which is directed toward both the electron gun and the faceplate of the CRT, being coated with a monochrome phosphor and being cooled by external means. The CRT is capable of producing monochrome images which are reflected by the phosphor-bearing surface of the metal plate-like member toward the faceplate of the CRT and, upon passing through the faceplate, may be projected directly onto a display screen. Alternatively, the CRT can produce projected field sequential color images when it is used either with a synchronized color wheel or with a synchronized liquid crystal shutter color filter interposed between the metal plate-like member of the CRT and the associated display screen.Type: GrantFiled: December 13, 1995Date of Patent: September 1, 1998Assignee: SWZ Engineering Ltd.Inventors: Ceil E. Patent number: 5181319Abstract: A method for insulating a pipe, including skid pipes for walking beam and pusher type furnaces and the well known over-and-under skid pipe, including providing an appropriately contoured anchor band which can be applied around the pipe, the two ends secured together, each anchor band having a plurality of outwardly projecting prongs. A ceramic fiber blanket is applied around the exposed part of the pipe and then a pliable refractory material is applied around the blanket so that the prongs extend through the blanket and sufficiently into the pliable refractory material to support the refractory material around the pipe. Preferably a preformed insulator laminae comprising a ceramic fiber blanket, a pliable refractory material and a plastic-like film between and secured to them is applied to the prongs to reduce installation time.Type: GrantFiled: January 9, 1992Date of Patent: January 26, 1993Inventor: Frank Campbell, Jr.

Patent number: 4362506Abstract: The device for closely securing two insulator segments around a support member includes a resilient brace secured to and connecting the spaced apart insulator segments, a pair of converging upper locking surfaces and contiguous diverging lower surfaces on the insulator segments. A locking bar having a top and a pair of converging sides is conformingly inserted within the brace and upper locking surfaces in order to mechanically secure the insulator segments around the support member. A refractory mortar is applied to the interior of the locking plug and the diverging lower surfaces in order to protect the locking plug from the furnace heat. The arrangement permits the insulator segments to be locked at a single point around the support member.Type: GrantFiled: April 13, 1981Date of Patent: December 7, 1982Assignee: Fulbright & JaworskiInventor: Frank Campbell, Jr.
