  • Patent number: 5809830
Abstract: A control device including an electric motor (11), which acts through a transmission (12) on a piston (13) of an actuator (14), a resilient assistor (15) which acts on a member (16) of the transmission (12), and a compensator (17) which provides controlled modulation of the action of the resilient assistor (15) on the member (16). The compensator (17) has at least one train of rollers (37), which are mounted for rotation about a fixed axis (A2) which includes, spaced away from the latter, a roller (38A) making contact with a plate (39A) which is fixed to the member (16) of the transmission (12), and a roller (38B) making contact with a plate (39) on which the resilient assistor (15) bears, and which is moveable axially with respect to the plate.

  • Patent number: 5762557
Abstract: A damped flywheel having two coaxial masses (1, 2) which are mounted for movement with respect to one another against the action of a resilient damping device (3, 130, 230) including at least one resilient member (31 to 33; 133; 231, 232) mounted for articulation on both sides of the coaxial masses. The resilient member acts generally in a radial direction between the coaxial masses in a rest position of the flywheel to occupy a stable rest position. A second coaxial mass is mounted for rotation on the first coaxial mass through bearing members (14, 114) which are arranged at either the outer or inner peripheries of the first mass.

  • Patent number: 5228361
Abstract: A polarised manual gearchange lever for a motor vehicle gearbox or the like comprises an upstream part having a knob and carried by a downstream part of the lever, with a slight misalignment between the two parts occurring on manipulation of the knob, together with a force threshold detector which includes electrical sensor means. The force threshold detector comprises a resiliently deformable, or elastic, bar having a head portion, which is fixed with respect to the knob, and a foot portion which is fixed against deflection in a female element that is itself fixed to the downstream part of the lever.

  • Patent number: 5135090
Abstract: An actuator, especially for a motor vehicle clutch, is of the kind that has a casing carrying a reversible electric motor which has a drive spindle, a driving element for coupling the actuator to an actuating member of the clutch, a coupling mechanism which couples the motor drive spindle to the driving element and which includes a toothed sector plate coupled in rotation to the driving element. The coupling mechanism also includes an actuating force reducing mechanism having a compensating spring. The actuating force reducing mechansim includes a compensating lever which is articulated on the toothed sector plate and on an intermediate pivoting lever, which is itself articulated to the casing, the intermediate pivoting lever being coupled to the compensating spring.
