    Abstract: A torso support belt system has individually contoured back and abdominal muscle support pads and an associated multi-belt system. The locations of the abdominal and back support pads around the wearer's body are adjustable, so as to provide contoured support for both the back and abdominal regions of the wearer. The back support pad is contoured to generally conform with the wearer's lower back region, while the abdominal muscle support pads are contoured to generally conform with the wearer's abdominal region. The multi-belt system contains inner and outer belts which are looped through slots in the back support pad and the abdominal muscle support pads in such a manner as to securely fasten the abdominal muscle support pads and the back support pad about the torso of the wearer.
