  • Publication number: 20130253960
Abstract: A system is configured to store different categories of business data. The system is accessible by one or more electronic devices. The system is operable to feed business output data to the electronic devices. The business output data is importable into other systems.

  • Patent number: 5980412
Abstract: A fully automatic infinitely variable torque converter bicycle transmission makes use of cam followers acting between a driver wheel connected with an input and a follower wheel connected with an output. Torque is varied by varying a radial position of the cam followers relative to the driver wheel and the follower wheel, wherein a return of the cam followers toward an outer radial position is delayed. All force transmitting components of the apparatus are mechanically engaged without relying on friction.

  • Patent number: 5906851
Abstract: A process for improving cake baking properties of wheat flour is disclosed. The process includes the steps of introducing a quantity of wheat flour into a container which is provided with mixing devices; heating the wheat flour at a temperature in the range of 110.degree.-140.degree. C. to dry the wheat flour while injecting nitrogen gas into the container, whereby air exposure of the wheat flour is prevented; rotating the container, thereby continuously mixing the wheat flour with the nitrogen gas during the heating step; and cooling the heated flour to 50.degree. C. while preventing air exposure of the heated flour.

  • Patent number: 5892754
Abstract: A flow control system for packet transmission networks is centered in the user applications supplying data to the network. Changes in control are responsive to changes in the transmission parameters of the network, measured in the network and transmitted to the user application. The user application specifies desired ranges of Quality of Service parameters and, when the measured network parameters fall outside of the desired range, the user application modifies the transmission strategy to match the available transmission parameters. Measurements of network parameters are made over a pre-selected observation period to average the values of the transmission parameters.

  • Patent number: 5334991
Abstract: A mechanical scanning dual-image display device utilizes two separate scanning mirror mechanisms with a common control that forces the scanning mirrors to move in opposition, and substantially cancel reaction forces. This cancellation is accomplished by providing each of the mirrors with an individual drive mechanism, commonly controlling the two drive mechanisms and arranging the geometry of each display so that the reaction forces acting on the overall display as a result of the mirror motion cancel. In a second embodiment, vibrations are reduced by driving both mirror assemblies from a common source. More specifically, both mirrors are oscillated by an eccentric and linkage mechanism driven by a common motor.
