Abstract: Water dispersible solid granular agrochemical formulations, typically in the form of wettable powders, particularly having an average particle size from 5 to 50 &mgr;m, or water dispersible granules, particularly having an average particle size of from 200 &mgr;m to 5 mm, include one or more water dispersible agrochemical active components; and a dispersing agent including a water dispersible styrene (meth) acrylic copolymer. The copolymeric dispersing agent may include monomer residues which include strongly acidic, particularly sulphonic acid groups.

Abstract: Aqueous agrochemical compositions of dispersed phase agrochemicals, particularly phytoactives, such as growth regulators and/or herbicides, or pesticides, such as insecticides, fungicides, or acaricides, include as adjuvant a branched primary alcohol alkoxylate of the formula (I): [CH3.(CH2)n][CH3.(ch2)m].CH.[(CH2)p.O.(AO)q.H] where n, m, p, AO and q have defined meanings are disclosed. In the compositions, the agrochemical can be present as dispersible granules or dissolved or dispersed in an oil. The compositions can be concentrates or diluted sprayable compositions. A particularly convenient form of composition is as dispersible granules.

Abstract: Adjuvants for aqueous agrochemical compositions incorporating hydrocarbyl polysaccharides can be formulated with polyalkylene glycols, particularly polyethylene glycols, without a major loss of effectiveness in the total formulation. The compositions can include other water soluble or dispersible non-ionic surfactants. The agrochemical compositions can be used to kill or inhibit vegetation where the agrochemical includes a growth regulator and/or herbicides, particularly water soluble herbicides, such as a glyphosate type herbicides; or to kill or inhibit plant pests where the agrochemical includes a pesticide, particularly an insecticide, fungicide and/or acaricide.
