  • Patent number: 9398920
Abstract: The invention relates to a surgical instrument system encompassing a morcellator with a hollow shaft on whose distal end a cutting blade is configured, as well as a gripping instrument with a shaft on whose distal end a tool consisting of at least two jaw members and on whose proximal end a handle consisting of at least two gripping members is configured to activate the tool, in such a way that the gripping instrument can be inserted into the hollow shaft of the morcellator so that it can slide in the longitudinal direction of the morcellator shaft. To ensure versatile application along with simple structure, it is proposed with the invention that the morcellator with the insertable gripping instrument can be inserted into a hollow shaft of an additional medical instrument, in particular a resectoscope, and that an additional irrigation and/or suction canal is configured between the shaft of the morcellator and the inside of the hollow shaft of the additional medical instrument.

  • Patent number: 8945097
Abstract: A medical instrument with a proximal instrument part and a distal instrument part that are connected with one another by an elongated shaft. The distal instrument part includes a pivot element that is mounted to pivot with respect to the shaft and that can pivot by a translationally moveable actuation element. The pivot element is coupled with the actuating element by a coupling element, so that the coupling element is in a hinged connection with the pivot element by a first hinged connection and with the actuation element by a second hinged connection. The second hinged connection is controlled by at least one nonlinear guide formed by the distal instrument part in such a way that the pivot element can pivot both in the one pivot direction and in the other pivot direction. The actuating element is configured to be suitable for control by the nonlinear guide.

  • Patent number: 8182492
Abstract: A medical instrument, especially a uterus manipulator, comprises a shaft, an actuator movable relative to said shaft in order to move a tool and a locking device to lock the actuator relative to the shaft. It is now proposed that the locking device comprises a clamping element which is slidably arranged therein.

  • Patent number: 7947048
Abstract: A screwdriver serves for handling a screw in the body of a person or an animal. The screwdriver has a handle, and a stem permanently connected to said handle. An outer tube surrounds the stem. A locking mechanism has a locking element engaging into a locking point in at least three different axial displacement positions of said outer tube. The locking element is prevented from moving further in an axial direction at a locking position by a barrier, which barrier can be overcome only by rotating said outer tube and said stem relative to one another about a longitudinal axis.

  • Patent number: 7850713
Abstract: A device for fixing and tensioning at least one pulling thread for applying a neovagina comprises a base body on which at least one fixing element is arranged for fixing the at least one pulling thread with tensioning. The fixing element is able to turn about an axis of rotation in order to tension the at least one pulling thread, and a blocking device is provided for the fixing element, by means of which blocking device the fixing element can be blocked at least in a direction of rotation opposite to the direction of rotation for tensioning the at least one pulling thread.

  • Publication number: 20090297260
Abstract: A coupling for a medical instrument for connecting two lines, with a first coupling part, and with a second coupling part which can be inserted into the first coupling part in the longitudinal direction of the coupling parts. The coupling comprises first locking elements arranged on the first coupling part and second locking elements arranged on the second coupling part, the first locking elements being movable between a locking position, in which they engage with the second locking elements, and an unlocking position, in which they disengage from the second locking elements. The coupling further comprises retaining elements which are arranged on the first coupling part and which are movable between a retention position, in which they keep the first and second locking elements in engagement with each other, and a release position, in which the first and second locking elements can be disengaged.
