Publication number: 20200129109Abstract: Mobility of a subject can reveal their physical, emotional and mental health, condition. The mobility assessment tracking tool (MATT) system assesses mobility derived by purely objective, reliable and reproducible processes and actions created by specialized computer codes and instructions executed by a logic engine to administer complex bio-mechanical measurements. The MATT system measures a subject's static and dynamic balance and gate mobility locomotion during the subject performing movements of the Tinetti gait and balance test and performing movements of the sports concussion assessment test, SCAT-5. By analyses of data streams from 3-D video with superimposed skeleton notes and from a pressure sensor force board used during these movements, the MATT assess a subject's mobility in accordance to established kinesiology definitions and protocol standards. Repetition of assessments over time allows for the tracking of the subjects' deterioration, maintenance or improvement health condition.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 30, 2018Publication date: April 30, 2020Inventor: Frank E. Publication number: 20170035330Abstract: Revealed are the algorithms for a purely objective, reliable and reproducible mobility assessment tool (MAT) system with computerized fuzzy-logic algorithms that administer complex bio- mechanical assessments of a subject's static and dynamic balance and locomotion during performing 8 movements, by the administration of those algorithms to the skeleton nodal data stream representation of the movements derived from the 3-D video data stream observations or recordings of the subject performing the movements according to established kinesiology mobility standards. Each specific movement is measured as a function of 13 specific features' values that are determined by that function's algorithms for which there are adjustable parameters that allow calibrating the range limits of each feature's value of the assessments for select populations including gender, age, athleticism, and injury or disease subgroups.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 6, 2015Publication date: February 9, 2017Inventor: Frank E. Publication number: 20150079833Abstract: An electrical connector-to-receptacle, sometimes called plug-to-socket, retainer means for maintaining firm electrical connection of a connector, sometimes called a plug, attached to a receptacle, sometimes called a socket, is comprised of a physical means attached to the connector and attached to the receptacle thereby restraining the connector from disengaging from the receptacle. This retainer means can be fabricated as either a one-piece or multiple-piece means that can be firmly attached to the connector and firmly attached to the receptacle such that, when attached, the retainer means prevents the connector from withdrawing from the receptacle. Additionally, a securing means is incorporated into the retainer thereby permitting the insertion of the connector into the receptacle or the removal of the connector from the receptacle as desired while the retaining means is still firmly attached to the connector and to the receptacle.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 19, 2013Publication date: March 19, 2015Inventor: Frank E. Bunn

Publication number: 20140200753Abstract: A transportation network system: comprising existing dual-mode vehicles facilities operating on existing railway tracks and on existing roadways roads and existing roadway-railway crossings facilities for the transportation, pickup, and drop off of passengers and of goods within and about an urban city environment. Fundamental to this system is the integration of these exiting facilities with incorporation of modern computer marshalling means for operation of the railway-vehicles and of the roadway dual-mode vehicles, having wireless communications and GPS in which means administered are fuzzy logic computer logic engine means and fuzzy logic algorithmic means for save operation of the vehicles on the railway tracks and on the roads and the dual-mode vehicles entry to or egress from the tracks with which to provide an optimised and safe transportation system.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 14, 2013Publication date: July 17, 2014Inventor: Frank E. Publication number: 20140024971Abstract: A mobility assessment determines the abnormalities and impairments in a subject's movements by administering mobility and mobility impairment active logic engine algorithms to the video data of the subject's movement. The determined abnormalities and impairments are administered to known norms for a particular test to determine if the abnormalities and impairments are normal or not. The determined abnormalities and impairments can be administered to known norms for brain concussions or injuries and for Multiple Sclerosis or Alzheimer's Dementia to classify whether or not the concussion, injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer's Dementia condition exists and to determine the condition's phase and recovery rehabilitation progress. The results may be administered to determine a treatment regime to restore the subject's health thereby cure the condition.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 17, 2012Publication date: January 23, 2014Inventors: Frank E. Bunn, Richard D. Adair

Patent number: 7999857Abstract: Revealed is an intelligent camera security monitoring, fuzzy logic analyses and information reporting system that includes video/audio camera, integrated local controller, interfaced plurality of sensors, and input/output means, that collects and analyses data and information observations from a viewed scene and communicates these to a central controller. The central controller with fuzzy logic processor receives, stores these observations, conducts a plurality of computer analyses techniques and technologies including face, voice, lip reading, emotion, movement, pattern recognition and stress analysis to determine responses and potential threat of/by a person, crowd, animal, action, activity or thing. This invention recognizes possible terrorists, criminals, enraged or dangerous persons and also can identify a person's level of intoxication or impairment by alcohol or drugs via a new “Visual Response Measure”.Type: GrantFiled: July 25, 2003Date of Patent: August 16, 2011Assignee: Stresscam Operations and Systems Ltd.Inventors: Frank E. Bunn, Richard D. Adair, Robert N. Peterson, David D. Adair

Patent number: 7988647Abstract: A mobility assessment detects abnormalities in motion using a stagger algorithm. The detected abnormalities are compared to known norms for a particular test to determine if the abnormalities are normal or not. The comparison can be made for abnormalities associated with different diseases and illnesses to classify whether or not the condition exists and its phase. The results may be used to generate a treatment regime.Type: GrantFiled: March 16, 2009Date of Patent: August 2, 2011Inventors: Frank E. Bunn, Richard D. Adair, William R. Bauer

Patent number: 7164666Abstract: A system that multiplexes a plurality of wireless devices with a wireless network, each of the wireless devices sharing a common telephone number. The system assigns a predefined access time for each of said wireless devices. The system also assigns a predefined length of time during which each of said wireless devices will have access to said wireless network. A sequence of accesses to the wireless network can then be initiated in accordance with the predefined access time and the predefined length of time such that a maximum of one of the wireless devices accesses said local network at a time.Type: GrantFiled: January 18, 2002Date of Patent: January 16, 2007Assignee: Northwater Intellectual Property Fund L.P.
