  • Patent number: 5042172
Abstract: A flexible exhaust ducting system is provided for a dryer wherein the dryer has more than one opening through its cabinet panels for an exhaust outlet to accommodate differing installation configurations. The ducting system includes a flexible metal tubing which is radially deformed into contact with rigid metallic end pipes to provide a trouble free joint. The end pipes are secured to the cabinet bottom panel at an end connected to the blower and to the panel through which the conduit exits the cabinet at the other end to prevent accidental dislodging of the conduit.

  • Patent number: 4518142
Abstract: A support and leveling system for use in a refuse compactor or similar appliance providing facilitated adjustment when the compactor is being installed in a normal under-counter installation. The support and leveling mechanism permits the compactor to be slid easily into position and permits further adjustment of the front leveling mechanism without requiring removal of the compactor from the under-counter installation. The support and leveling mechanism acts directly against the structural frame of the compactor so as to transmit the compactor load directly downwardly through the leveling element thereof. A friction means may be mounted to the mechanism to provide a non-slip support when desired. The mechanism may include adjustable rear rollers for further adjusting the elevation of the rear portion of the compactor in the installed disposition.

  • Patent number: 4266174
Abstract: A refuse compactor having a selector switch for causing the ram to be automatically retained in the compacting position when desired. The control of the compactor is also arranged to provide an automatic movement of the ram to the compacting position and then to a retracted position with the selector switch permitting such automatic cycling, when desired. A signal device is associated with the control to provide an indication of the retention of the ram in the compacting position when the compactor is so arranged. The control may include centrifugal switches and a selector switch for selectively controlling energization of individual forward and reverse start windings of the drive motor for selectively moving the ram.
