  • Patent number: 10706338
Abstract: In an example, an apparatus is described that includes a vision system and an image correction module. The vision system captures an image of a multi-lane print output. The image correction module receives the image of the multi-lane print output from the vision system and calculates a calibration to image data from which the multi-lane output is printed. The calibration minimizes visual variations between the multi-lane print output and a reference image.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 18, 2016
Date of Patent: July 7, 2020
    Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.
Inventors: Frank E Perdicaro, Matthew Alan MacClary
  • Patent number: 10457066
Abstract: An example system includes a print engine to print a first image on a medium. The system also includes a controller communicatively coupled with the print engine. The controller is to detect a failure in the print engine that results in a defect in the first image. The controller also is to perform an affine transformation on a second image to produce a transformed second image. The controller is to instruct the print engine to print the transformed second image.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: October 29, 2019
    Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.
Inventors: Frank E. Perdicaro, Jose Galmes
  • Patent number: 10348929
Abstract: An example system includes a controller. The controller is to determine a first end point of a previous frame in a first image. The first image is to be printed on a first ribbon. The controller is to determine a second end point of the previous frame in a second image to be printed on a second ribbon. The controller is to create a current frame containing first image data from the first image starting after the first end point, second image data from the second image starting after the second end point, and third image data from a beginning of the first image. The system includes an image engine to form an image corresponding to the current frame on a medium.
