  • Patent number: 4580378
Abstract: An anchor assembly for use in raising tilt-up wall sections which are cast in a horizontal position. The assembly includes an elongated steel anchor member supported in a vertical position on a base. A horizontal steel pin extends through an opening in the lower portion of the anchor member, with the pin and anchor member being retained in the base by two pairs of opposing resilient members which extend partially around the pin. A recess former is positioned over the upper end of the anchor member and is detachably locked to the anchor member by another pair of opposing resilient members which are extendable into a second opening in the upper portion of the anchor member. After the wall section is cast, the recess former is unlocked from the anchor member and removed from the wall section thereby providing access to the second opening of the anchor member.

  • Patent number: 4516875
Abstract: A key joint forming strip and supporting stake therefor wherein the upper portion of the strip includes a hook segment engageable with a supporting ledge on the upper end of the stake and the intermediate portion of the stake includes a downwardly facing hook engageable with a protrusion on a lower portion of the strip. In use, the hook segment is first engaged with the ledge and then the lower portion of the strip is forced against the stake to engage the protrusion beneath the downwardly facing hook. Once so engaged, the strip is held in place between the ledge and the hook.

  • Patent number: 4468149
Abstract: An assembly for anchoring an element to a concrete slab (10) through means of a bore (22) extending through the slab and a bolt (26) removably received within the bore (22). The bolt (26) has a laterally extending foot (28) engageable with one side of the slab (10). A tapered spike (30) having a length greater than the thickness of the slab (10) is extended through the bore (22) to force the foot (28) into underlying engagement with the slab (10) and maintain the bolt (26) in such engagement and secure the bolt (26) against rotation.
