  • Patent number: 11675897
Abstract: A process identifier transition monitor captures and assesses activities associated with a microprocessor or a microcontroller. Monitoring and assessment is performed by detection of process identifier transitions, which may be driven by an occurrence of one or more activities, such as execution of application software, system hardware mechanisms, or processor-internal mechanisms. Process identifier transitions are assessed to determine whether such transitions were expected. If a detected process identifier transition was not expected, then a system alert may be transmitted or some other appropriate response taken within the system.

  • Patent number: 10613519
Abstract: The disclosure concerns a method for controlling a sliding door arrangement of a motor vehicle, wherein the sliding door arrangement comprises a sliding door, a drive arrangement for motorized displacement of the sliding door, a control arrangement and a sensor arrangement with at least one sensor element, in particular implemented as a proximity sensor, where-in during operator event monitoring by means of the control arrangement the sensor signals of the sensor arrangement are monitored as to whether a predetermined operator event exists. It is proposed that the sensor arrangement is disposed at least partly in or on the sliding door and that opening the sliding door at least from a closed end position and/or closing the sliding door at least from an open end position is/are carried out by means of the drive arrangement depending on the result of the operator event monitoring.

  • Patent number: 9920564
Abstract: A control system for a closure element arrangement of a vehicle includes at least one linear distance sensor to detect operator control events. A control arrangement monitors the distance sensor for one of the operator control events. A longitudinal movement cycle of a body part of an operator in a longitudinal direction comprises one of the operator control events and can be detected using the distance sensor. The control arrangement detects a transverse movement cycle of the operator body part as another one of the operator control events. The transverse movement cycle runs in a transverse direction relative to the longitudinal direction. The closure element arrangement can be driven in response to detecting either one of the operator control events.

  • Patent number: 9670995
Abstract: A tensioning and damping element for endless chain drives, especially for roller chain drives, can be used for endless chain drives, which are to be tensioned diametrically. The material is an elastic plastic. All told, the known tensioning and damping elements, in conjunction with the wear of the chain, the load changing phases, as well as the reversing according to the degree of deformation, have the disadvantage of a phased running irregularity, an increased running noise and of wear-intensive areas in the toothed rim. An element with a ring part and a toothed rim of arc-shaped teeth with, in each case, axially opposite bulges in the roller-seating and, between these, roller-seating depressions, grooves, which are disposed peripherally between the ring part and the bulges, an extended pitch and extended roller-seatings with the advantageous profile shape similar to a semielliptical curve lying on the root circle.

  • Patent number: 6361731
Abstract: A method for forming a temporary orthopedic implant used in an orthopedic surgical procedure. The method includes mixing bone cement during a surgical procedure. An appropriately sized cement mold is selected which is translucent and includes an input port. The cement mold is filled with bone cement to form the temporary implant. A surgeon determines that the cement mold is fully filled by viewing through the translucent cement mold. The surgeon further fills the cement mold by directing a nozzle within the input port of the cement mold. The cement mold may further be pierced to relieve any air pockets formed in the cement mold. The temporary implant is then subsequently implanted into a patient. The temporary implant may also include a re-enforcement member included into the temporary implant.

  • Patent number: 6155812
Abstract: A cement mold for use in forming a temporary orthopedic implant used in an orthopedic surgical procedure. The cement mold includes a first mold to define a first portion of the temporary implant and a second mold to define a second portion of the temporary implant. A coupling mechanism joins the first mold to the second mold such that the cement mold is substantially sealed to define the temporary implant. The cement mold further defines an input port which is operable to receive a delivery nozzle to supply antibiotic loaded bone cement within an inner sidewall of the cement mold. At least one ventilation port is defined by the cement mold which is operable to vent trapped air upon filling the cement mold with the antibiotic loaded bone cement through the input port. The cement mold further includes a removal mechanism which is operable to assist in tearing and separating the cement mold from the temporary implant.
