  • Publication number: 20240087445
Abstract: A method for providing an object message about an object, recognized in surroundings of a road user, in a communication network for communicating with other road users. The road user includes a sensor system for detecting the surroundings and an evaluation unit for evaluating sensor data generated by the sensor system and transferring object messages via the communication network. The method includes: receiving sensor data, generated by the sensor system, in the evaluation unit; recognizing at least one object in the surroundings of the road user based on the sensor data, a movement parameter and a further object parameter being ascertained; calculating an object transfer priority; determining, based on the object transfer priority, whether the recognized object is to be included in an object message; and, if so, generating the object message including the recognized object, and sending the object message via the wireless communication network.

  • Patent number: 10269094
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for combining a composite image (4) of an object (8) composed of multiple sub-images (6) by means of so-called stitching. Multiple adjacent sub-images (6) of the object (8) are captured and are stitched by means of an image processing operation together to form a coherent composite image (4). In order to make it possible to stitch the sub-images (6) together in the correct position even in the case of little information about the image, it is proposed that the stitching of the sub-images (6) together to form the composite image in the image processing operation be performed using an optical pattern (30, 74) that is generated by means of a pattern means (44).

  • Patent number: 7837799
Abstract: An arrangement for transporting a flat substrate through a coating installation, wherein the coating installation comprises, e.g., several and different sputter cathodes, to which the flat substrate, for example a glass pane, is transported one after the other in vacuo. So that no abrasion is generated between glass pane and contact, the glass pane is kept spaced apart from the contact by means of gas pressure. The gas pressure is herein built up through relatively few and small holes in a gas channel. Since during flooding of the coating installation to atmospheric pressure or during evacuation, due to the small holes, no fast pressure equalization between gas channel and the remaining coating installation is possible, the gas channel is decoupled in terms of gas from the remaining coating installation and provided with a separate gas line, via which gas can be introduced into the gas channel or pumped out of it.

Abstract: A method for fabricating an individual abutment for a dental prosthesis for use in an implant anchored in an area of the jaw with an implant attachment running on the abutment side, using a working model molded by the jaw area equipped with the implant. The abutment to be fabricated includes a sulcus section running within the sulcus area and an adjoining head section to admit a part of a dental prosthesis. So that the area of the abutment running below the gum line is geometrically adapted to it, it is proposed that the sulcus area of the working model having an auxiliary implant attachment corresponding to the implant attachment be measured, and on the basis of the data obtained by the measurement, a sulcus section model be determined with a circumferential surface and a de-facto sulcus line limiting it on the implant side.
