  • Patent number: 4380380
Abstract: An episcopic projector in which a field flattening lens located beneath the copy plane is used to direct light incident the copy and reflected from the copy through a Fresnel lens of relatively long focal length. An intermediate mirror is used for left right correction and the Fresnel lens is mounted so that it may be focused by simply moving it along the optical axis of the system.

  • Patent number: 4095257
Abstract: Infrared light from an object directed into a thermal imaging television camera by a lens is passed through an angularly mounted rotating plate to impart orbital motion to the image received upon the image plane of the camera. A variable speed drive is operatively connected to the plate by an elastomeric belt to rotate the plate with a minimum of mechanical vibration. The operator can adjust the speed of the plate's rotation to improve the clarity of the particular scene being televised.

  • Patent number: 4009928
Abstract: A three element varifocal lens system in which the front and back lens elements are stationary and the inner lens is shiftable from the telephoto to the wide angle position. The front lens is negative while the inner and back lenses are positive. The lens system has particular utility for infrared imaging systems.
