Abstract: Provided herein are immunogenic compositions for the prevention of Zika virus infections. Disclosed herein are immunogenic compositions comprising an expression vector and a nucleotide sequence disposed therein, wherein the nucleotide sequence comprises: a nucleotide sequence encoding a Zika virus NS3 protein. Further disclosed herein are methods for preventing a Zika virus infection in a subject in need thereof, the method comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of an immunogenic composition of the present disclosure to the subject.
