  • Publication number: 20230225286
Abstract: An animal shed system includes an animal shed having an animal shed floor with a first and a second surface spaced apart, such that the floor has a thickness different from zero, and multiple flow holes extending from the first to the second surface; a reservoir situated under the animal shed floor, wherein the flow holes open up to the reservoir, and the flow holes allow a fluid flow from the animal shed to the reservoir; a floor opening in the animal shed floor to allow manure to be dumped in the reservoir; an air extraction device for extracting air underneath the floor, out of the reservoir; and a device extending from the floor opening into the reservoir, wherein the device is configured to prevent an airflow from the animal shed to the reservoir through the floor opening when in use.

  • Patent number: 9861070
Abstract: Self-propelled animal-shed vehicle for removing manure from a floor, and comprising a frame, a manure pick-up device, and a manure collecting bin, wherein the manure pick-up device comprises a rotating, continuous manure pick-up belt, at least two reversing parts, around which the belt can be rotatably moved, and a drive for moving the manure pick-up belt around the reversing parts, wherein the manure pick-up device during use keeps the manure pick-up belt in contact with the floor by means of a bottom reversing part, and wherein the drive is configured to move the manure pick-up belt at a peripheral speed, in such a manner that the manure pick-up belt moves from a bottom side of the bottom reversing part to a top side of the reversing part along the reversing part. Such a vehicle can keep an animal-shed floor clean in a very efficient manner.

  • Publication number: 20170094934
Abstract: A milking device including a base frame, a functional frame coupled to the base frame and configured to move relative to the base frame with a teat detector and at least one milking cup holder with a milking cup to move relative to the milking cup holder. The functional frame can be filled relative to the base frame through an angle around at least one horizontal tilting axis transversely to a connection line between the teat detector and the milking cup holder. There may be two horizontal tilting axes, and consequently the functional frame can be subjected to a combination of a primary tilting movement and a secondary tilting movement. It is then possible to adjust an optimal level for the functional frame, and also an optimal mutual height relation of the teat detector and the milking cup in the milking cup holder.
